Jim you are undoubtedly the funniest PDR tech. I've watched many and you also definitely one of the best.

Hahaha. That’s a very high compliment! If I’m gonna make videos, why the hell make them boring?

There's another way. Take a piece of wood and trace the profile on it of the door on the other side of the car. Then cut the wood right on that line. Place the 2 pieces of wood on either side of the damaged door and apply a couple of clamps to the outside of the wood and slowly tighten the clamps until you reach a point where it's almost returned to its original shape. Then all it takes is a little finessing to get it to a like new condition.

I've got a car that looks like someone tried to pry on the door, the door has a gap and its a frameless door (no window frame at all) the window is sitting ok but the door you can tell someone put a pry tool on it before because its a few CM off the quarter panel next to it. I'm not sure how in the hell to fix that, might just end up smacking the edge similar to what you're doing here but along the corners to bring it back down some. You got any suggestion for that? thanks if you do.

Yes. Use heat and go slow. Don’t try to whack it back too fast. That would increase the risk of broken paint, and uneven edges. Use something maybe covered in leather at the point of impact on the door. Best of luck to you.

Would have been nice to have seen the door shut before and after to see the amount the edge was in and alignment after.
