If you actually want good food in the St. Augustine area ask around, and eat local. That town/area is known for the Datil pepper, so start there if you like spicy-ish food.

The lanes have nothing to do with speed. The left lane is reserved for passing and emergency vehicles only, even though it's often mislabeled the fast lane.

Some jerks think that they can just drive in that lane if they're going faster than everyone else. Let me guess, that's you. Not a good look at all. You probably don't even keep an eye in your rear view mirror while doing it. Just going based on your response though. You come across as one of THOSE people.

@@barkmaker The left lane is my personal lane reserved only for me. I own all left lanes across the country no matter what highway I am on. If you see me coming up from behind you in the left lane you should veer right and let me pass you without interupting my cruise control which will be set on about 75 mph most times. When on a road trip I must maintain a 300 miles in 4 hours pace at all times. Then pit stop for fuel fill ups rest room break and snacks for the next 300 miles. When in a western states the cruise control is on 80 or 85 depending the state.

Hey Pea, my grandfather is buried in St. Augustine. His name was Fransis Gonzales Oliveros. My mother's father was full blooded Spanish and her family came over from Spain and was one of the first settlers there. Her name was Oliveros and when I was visiting there I stumbled on an old cigar shop there in town which had the Oliveros house on a plaque outside in front of the store. I am retired in the Philoppines now. Enjooy St. Augustine and Ssy hi to my family for me! I am a native Floridian.

​@@TheFilipinaPea Pea, since you enjoy the freedom of parading around the house in your birthday suit, when you visit the Kennedy space center you will be a stones throw away from Playalinda Beach at Canaveral National Seashore, which is a nudist beach. Behind the beach dune area is natural fresh water ponds nestled in-between tall sand dunes. A great place to rinse off the oceans salt water residue. You are on the adventure of a lifetime. Check out the Smithsonian Institute museums in Washington D.C., well worth the visit especially for nerds and STEM people. You will learn an abundance about everything and anything at the Smithsonian. Safe travels.

I lived with my Filipina in San Diego for about a year when she first came here. Large Filipino presence there. Contrary to what they try to stereotype the south, I always find rural, southern areas to be very friendly and accommodating, but I'm an Appalachian hillbilly from KY. I think my wife would highly recommend Las Vegas too. She seemed to love it there.

Hi Pea. Love your videos. My gf is a Philipina. I'm an American. FYI the oldest city in America is NOT St. Augistine. The oldest city is Santa Fe, New Mexico. The oldest church is also located in Santa Fe and not the one you mentioned in St. Augustine. St. Augustine has changed many of their signs to read . . . the oldest continually inhabited city by European-Americans (or something like that). It's a mouthful. Ha! I've been to both cities many times and they're both worthy of visiting and experiencing although St. Augustine is more touristy while Santa Fe is far more cultural in the Arts.

Three years or so ago. Back in 2010 there were only a few channels. You are also good for your country as well. Speed limit in phillipines is maximum about 45 MPH and that is on good days and on the fast lanes. We do have a beautiful country in USA but too bad it got ruined by feminism and the far left.

Interesting video, Pea. Reminds me of Santa Fe ( oldest capital west of the Mississippi also founded by Spaniards). Many chapels and a Cathedral.) I liked how green it looked. Santa Fe also has many similarities in architecture. I'm glad you're going to some cool cities. Fiestas are coming, and the food is the best part. ( Navajo tacos, Frito pies, Green Chili burgers....). If you google it, you'll see a lot of similarities. Wish you a safe journey and don't worry too much about the weight, with all the walking you do, you're surely burning as many calories. Be blessed and safe travels, amiga!

Well done Pea. I am from Canada but married to a Filipina and living in Cebu out in the provinces for 4 years now. In the beginning of this video when you were driving it brought back many memories of all the driving I did all over Canada as the roads are very similar there too.
