Probably the best designed strap from peak design so far. I am using it together with the new version of the cuff on my Fuji camera. For the heavier Canon SLR I have the clutch and the slide. The anchor system makes switching between different products so easy!

Max Shean Yes - I’ve got the cuff, too, though I haven’t used it much

Dustin Abbott I am mostly using it, when carrying a backpack or have a small pancake lens on, where I can stow it in my jacket pocket. If I just take out the camera alone with a normal lens, the leash/slide works a lot better!

Thank you for the very informative review, seriously,. But why so far away from the camera when you are trying to show a product and how it works?

I like to do reviews like this in the field, if possible, where they will be used. That's why I supplement it with closer photos and footage to illustrate functionality.

They mentioned that this is a new generation of the Anchor Link system, in the way that they're now slightly elevated so you won't need to press at all when inserting. Egress of course requires pressing. Makes it even more effortless than the current gen on the Slide and Slide Lite (mine). But of course with the Leash it seems as though one must pay attention to the weight of the lens combinations they intend to mount. If I mount an EF or EF-S lens to my M5 I reckon the Leash's narrower strap would be terrible to my shoulders.

I have carried it with heavier combinations without issue, but yes, I think carrying a heavier payload for long periods of time would work better with a wider strap.

Just bought it from your link. Great for my daughter. Thanks!

Enjoy. It's a great strap!!

I just received it and it's great. Do you think it's also suitable for a larger camera? (d850 with a heavy Zeiss on it?)
@DustinAbbottTWI7 жыл бұрын
I think it would work okay, but might get uncomfortable over a longer period.

can i use 80d with 18-135mm and batterygrip?
@DustinAbbottTWI6 жыл бұрын
That’s on the heavier side, but it can support the weight fine. You may not feel like the weight distributes as well on our shoulder as a wider strap like the Slide Lite, which I think is a better choice for what you want to do

The leash is comfortable with a7III + 28-75 Tamron?
@DustinAbbottTWI5 жыл бұрын
It works fine. I wouldn't want to carry it all day on the leash (it doesn't spread the weight as well as a larger strap), but I use it all the time for shorter periods.

im confused between leash or slide lite.. anyone has opinion about this ?

I've used the Slide, but not the Slide Lite. All I can say is that I really like the Leash a lot.

Go for the leash and no regrets

Im trying to see how the strap looks on person but I feel like you're standing unnecessarily far away from the camera lol
