Welcome back to another Peak District wild camp! In this video I head up Kinder Scout for a night under the stars. I decided to pitch up by the stunning Woolpacks boulder field.
I hope you enjoy the video and feel free to leave a like, subscribe and comment, it'll really help support the growth of my channel :)

Great video Alex , nice to see the Woolpacks from that angle, i have been going up there for decades but thats the first time i have seen it from a Drones eye view. In fact i was only there 3 weeks ago looking for a place to pitch up but everywhere was like i swamp so i moved higher up and pitched next to Sims Chair which was about as dry as i could find that day...what a difference a few weeks makes hey. Re the rubbish they could do with putting a few strategically placed signs up reminding the numpty heads to take their shite home with them . Its the day hikers that leave the rubbish not the campers !

Thank you very much! The spot I chose was just about okay but it was obvious it had been considerably wetter in the previous weeks! A few days of warm sunshine was exactly what Kinder needed. Sounds like you had an awesome camp up there still! Yes something needs to be done, hate seeing our beautiful Peak District covered in litter!

I enjoyed this so much. I have walked the same route many times over the years and it is so good to see again. I live in Thailand now so it seems strange when you say 13-14 degrees is so warm...here it it like freezing, while on my treadmill with the aircon turned on and enjoy your views and photography...so thank 7:57 you so much for your work in producing these bideos. ❤❤❤

I was up on Kinder for the very first time about three weeks ago. The top of Crowden Clough, where you crossed the falls, was in full flow when I went up, and you had to jump to try and avoid getting wet. Up at The Woolpacks, it was pure bog and went face first into the bog. But it was beautiful up there. It really hacks me off when people profess to love the outdoors and drop litter. Who do they expect will clear it up? Another great vlog Alex, great drone footage as always. Thanks for sharing.

What a wonderful video, anyone else get Jabba The Hut vibes from the rock at 07.29 or was that just me? Loved the drone footage :) so cool, as to the rubbish :( so sad people do that, two ticks would put it in a pocket and you can depose of it at home.

great content... new to the wild camp scene but being an OCD ADHD over do it with the research etc I wanted the MSR windburner but. the boil cup was a tad narrow and the handle was a pain and the lack of ignition also and its height compared to what i bought as well although not a biggy but prefer the stout pot on the minimo, it has a wider pot which is great for spoon ange thus eating out of, the simmer control was also better and ignition, the handle is great, lid fits better and packs down better the only feature the windburner i prefer was the ability to place the boil cup in multiple positions around its base rather than faffing trying to get it re seated on the minimo... TOLD you i over do it and overthink it. Also bought the hubba hubba and hoping that will be suitable for 3.5 seasons LOL.

I really enjoyed that Alex end to end. I'm kind of new to the channel but found the good vibes took me along nicely. Fantastic approach up to camp. In some shots you wouldn't know you were in England. Awe inspiring as was that boulder field. Great pitch. The night appeared OK - the morning walk certainly was. Well, good going. All the best. Mark

Fabulous video once again Alex. Grindsbrook Clough is such an iconic route onto Kinder. It’s been a while since I have been up that way as I have spent a lot of time getting to grips with the North side. The Woolpacks are amazing and I quite like taking a wander around them for a while, so many strange shapes eroded into them to discover. Your drone footage of them was brilliant, never seen them from that aspect. Loved it! Quite agree regarding the litter, no excuse there, I can’t say much else that is polite about that other than it is really disrespectful to that wonderful environment. I think you are ready to bosh out an equipment review video by the looks of it 😀😀

Thank you so much Greg really appreciate that! Don’t think I’ll ever get bored of Kinder, need to tick off some more cloughs this year! Glad you liked the drone footage, I loved seeing it from above on the controller. Yes more needs to be done, I definitely want to organise a litter pick up there this year with a small group, maybe at the end of the summer season. Gear reviews will be on there way to the channel very soon! 😁 thank you Greg, take care! 😊👍
