Fuckin phenomenal. How were they able to sound just as good live as on record. Ive been a music fanatic for 30 years. Ive been to a lot of concerts. There were 2 or 3 bands that blew me away live. But Pearl Jam was always outstanding. IMO, they are the best live band of all time. Especially in the 90s while Eddie was young. Obviously, now in his 50s, he cant perform like this. For example Go, Last Exit, Spin the Black Circle are really tough on the voice. And he is crushing them one after another. And then an hour later he busts out Animal, Habit, and Lukin. Damn!

This is probably the best footage in terms of clarity and colour. Until we get the band's footage of this (probably never, especially since this is now a Vault release from the fan club), this will might be the best visual document of this show.

I’ve been to over 500 concerts. This still is the 1. I still have the bootleg T-shirt they were selling outside the stadium before the CPD shut sales down. There weren’t merch sales because of the issues w the Chicago Park District wanting a cut. The boycott of Ticket Master, lack of merch, hot summer night on the back end of the Taste, all make this one rare event. Mosh pit and a sweaty Metra train ride back to Beverly. What a night!
