This is what music is all about. Passion. Energy. Live. Heat of the moment. Winging it. Not this one direction shite backing tracks, lip synching boring, overly rehearsed. 10 is my favourite album ever and it should be on everyone's bucket list.
@Harpazo_to_Yeshua9 жыл бұрын
Neal McCullough Yep. Real music is the power of human emotion transferred into vibrations that our ears can comprehend. It is art for the ears, just like painting or drawing is art for the eyes. Most of the popular stuff you hear today is like someone making a computer draw / paint something up, copy & paste it and then call it "art". It has little to no soul, no heart, no passion; it's driven by soulless, corporate greed. At least we can continue to listen to these good bands from decades ago and also continue to make music of our own; not rely on rich corporations trying to steer us in a direction that we don't want to go. There are some good bands out there today, most are just not mainstream. Good music lives on, it's just most of it is not popular (since most corporations aren't using media to hype them up today).

@@rockable55 i’m not going to agree with you, but I have heard the same from people I respect. The 1990s was a time of a lot of “firsts”; all the cool heavy stuff yes probably came out in the 70s; however, hip-hop, EDM, and other musical forms too hold and flourished; grunge was the simplification deconstruction of more complicated heavy music plus blending other influences like pop to form a cohesive genre of its own. So yes 70s probably had the best music. The 90s had the most diverse.
