@@DiegoFarre4 to my shame, I only really know Pearl Jam’s first album, as nothing I’ve heard by them after that album hit me as hard. I feel I definitely need to give their other albums a second listen! Recommendations would be greatly appreciated, particularly if Dave Abruzzese is on the album (I’m a drummer, and this guy is unreal).

What i find fascinating is the difference in energy at these unplugged performances. Alice In Chains was so somber, Nirvana seemed like it had this tension ready to burst as Kurt just kept so chill between songs, Pearl Jam here just so electric and inviting - incredible how amazing these unplugged performances are. They should really bring the format back, love to see Arctic Monkeys, Black Keys, just various bands using nothing more than acoustics and a drumset and killer vocals.

I stopped into the Nitelite downtown Seattle for a beer after work. The bar was empty except for a group of guys in the corner. I was at the bar and Eddie Vedder came up and asked me if I wanted to eat with them. It was Pearl Jam right before they hit it big. Their rehearsal space was close to where I worked. They were some of the most genuine and truly nicest guys I've ever met. It was an honor!

Same for me, especially growing up in Seattle in 80s and 90s....sadly now my oldest son is stuck on this horrid....horrid autotune wannabe hip hop shit! And i loved some early 90s rap, but this shit now isnt music, honestly makes me feel bad, imagine not having these 90s tunes growing up, and instead have some horrible devil worshipping racket
