There were two guitarists you couldnt see very well. And yes I am so blessed to have lived the decade of the 70's.My high school years and young adult years .I hear young people today talking like we never had a transformative time like the 70's. I want to tell them that time was with the young people not obsessed with race. Hey BP notice the number of groups that were racially mixed or the artists of different races did collabs together and mixed it up. I am sooo sad things have come to how it is now. But keep playing the oldies. It brings me joy

He was the first performer to open a new community amphitheater in Gautier Mississippi in the Spring. My BFF, her husband and their son went. She said it was packed with people seated and on the ground. She said it was cute seeing him at 75 still kickin’ it. She said it was a great concert and he entertained all ages. People my age brought their kids, grandkids, older parents in scooters that listened to him in the 70s. She said it was not hot and there were no mosquitoes 😂. So he is still popular.

Dancing on Friday and Saturday nights at the bars and clubs on Milwaukee's East side in the 1970s. Me in my 20s in my disco dresses dancing in high heels. Those were the days when the guys came up to you at your table or if you were sitting at the bar and asked you to dance. I still rock out to my favorite music from that time but I do it inside my house, LOL!

They could have and should have gone 10 more minutes with that instrumental riff! The other white dude, playing the bass, consistently lays down a lot of funkadelicious lines … unfortunately, he went off the deep end in his personal life! Check out the live version of “ DO YOU WANT TO GO PARTY” a massive funk riff of a jam that could go on as long as the party!

Harry got into a head-on car accident in 1982. He was partially paralyzed for six months. The doctors weren't sure if he'd walk again. He had to relearn how to walk, dance, and play the keyboard. I remember seeing him on TV after the accident. He came out front with the back-ups, they danced, he kind of did. He was not the same, but this was his first performance post paralysis. He was not the loose KC anymore, he was stiff and stilted, I assume he got better with time. He and the band still tour.
