Even though I will probably never own or use a 3D printer, I really enjoy watching your videos, you're so creative, and I love how you come up with seemingly simple ideas that just add so much detail to the wall and the room, like those penholders, or even just the cable holder :D When I finish university in a few years I will definitely consider leaving you a few tips because you're awesome.

I got my first and only 3d printer about 4 years ago. I couldn't think of anything other than decorative stuff to print, at first. Years later, there are 3d printed things all over my house. You can't turn your head without seeing something that I printed, and almost none of it is decorative. The printer just fills another void in my toolbox. It's perfect for some things, and worthless for others, just like any other tool.

This guy, is a real cool guy 😉 I love your videos dude. I wish I had a 3d printer. Some day I'll have one. And then I'll be in my house for the next week watching your tutorials again hahaha

One thing to watch out for when designing pegboard projects is the spacing of your holes. Some boards use 1 inch spacing which is 25.1mm - However some boards are metric and the spacing is 25.0mm. - If your project is only 1 or two holes wide, you can get away with it. But if your project is 3 or more holes wide, your pegs won't line up with the holes.
@sigpi6 жыл бұрын
Um, 1 inch is 25.4 mm.
@gavinsv6 жыл бұрын
Yes, your correct, but it doesn't change the point I was making about hole spacing. -Cheers

Very cool video, would it be possible for you to indicate the keyboard shortcut you use at the same time you use them ? Like press "L" for the line tool etc, I know it would help me a lot finding the tools you use in your videos :)

I try to say it but often forget.. I'll work on consistency! Or maybe make a cheat sheet :)... You can always press 's' and type in the tool name as well ( though I wish it showed the shortcut key there! )

What is the real difference between the pro and build filament?
@make.anything6 жыл бұрын
I believe PRO is just a bit tighter with it's tolerances, and the color consistency might be a bit better. PRO runs at a hotter temperature generally, so maybe there's more to it, but they've both been great so far.
