I just bought the Pelican Enforcer 120 Angler. Took it out on a 5 day camping/fishing trip and it performed awesomely. Carried a ton of gear,2 small packs,hammock,tarp,full size folding chair,fishing gear,food/water,2 paddles and even my .22 air rifle fit in the other paddle strap. Already planning my next adventure. And cost half the price of other models I looked at.

Best darn commercial I've seen in a long time ! Nice kayak too but I think a battle ship would've been more secure around those gators !Nothing beats being on the water and listening to the call of those water birds ! Thanks

Completely with you on the gators. I started Kayak fishing on lakes here around Orlando for large mouth Bass but the gators scare the snot out of me - your videos got me addicted to driving an hour in the dark each weekend to hit the salt. Sharks are way less scary than stealth dinosaurs.

Thanks for posting all of your kayak videos I have personally enjoyed them all. I recently purchased my very own Pelican catch 120 nxt from Academy online for a grand total of $765.00 usd! I used a promo code (18WACTEN) which as of 4/18/18 works for -85.00 off. Free shipping and no tax was included with the purchase. I don't work for Academy or Pelican I simply want to save people money. I went to four different kayak retailers and it was hard to find a better deal for under $1500 usd. Once again Marty THANKS for the videos and advice. Two thumbs way up here form Texas.

This is like most of my kayaking trips from this past year, nothing but dinks. Good to see some red wing blackbirds, soon enough they will be back up here with me in PA. Looks like a nice stable fishing platform, a far cry away from my touring sit in that I usually fish out of.
@TrailChaser9 жыл бұрын
Great video Marty, I like to hit the fresh water every once in a while. I swear my boat gets lighters since all the salt gets rinsed off. Down here in Texas our gators like to do a little salt water fishing from time to time. I found a big gator while fishing for reds and specks over the summer. He didn't seem to enjoy my company or the camera pointed at him.

Glad to see Pelican has upped their game. My wife and I started out with Pelican kayaks. She still has hers, refuses to let the pink 125 go. LOL We keep it around for guests. If it wasn't for Pelican we would not have been bit by the Kayak bug. Gave us the opportunity to get out on the water for a low cost and see if we really liked Kayaking before moving on to adventures in salt that do require a little more Kayak and more money of course. But it's good to know I can recommend this to a friend on a budget. I really like the seat on that Kayak. Looks similar to my Predator seat and Marty is right, you can sit all day in those no problem. Great video and review as usual Marty!

Weight is right in line with similar kayaks, Jackson Coosa will run about 65 to 70 lbs (especially if you put some type of rod holder on the front), and the Hobie Pro Angler 12 weights about 75 lbs without the seat (add 5 - 10 lbs for the seat. Regarding the tracking, if the Catch is oriented for streams and small ponds then it shouldnt be much of an issue, Coosa is much the same way. I've had the Coosa on large lakes and it was less then fun then the Pro Angler. Then I used the Coosa on a small stream and it was great (much better then the Pro Angler). I would expect the catch to be much the same way. Regarding the seat, go for the best/most comfortable you can find. After a few hours and uncomfortable seat takes much of the fun out of your fishing day.
