Pencil and BIC pen Sketchbook Tour

In this sketchbook tour video I talk about each of the drawings. I used pencil, bic pens and markers to create my drawings. I also demonstrate how I sketch with Bic pens by drawing in real time. I am drawing on white paper instead of my usual toned tan sketchbook paper.

Loving your sketches, they look so cool and unique, I almost can't believe you're doing these without reference or construction, would definitely watch a more instructive video by you since you're planning to make one.

It's definitely helpful to watch you sketch. One thing that I've been wondering about is if you sketch on an incline or with the sketchbook flat on the desk? I've been watching different tutorials and reading and everyone says to draw with the paper at an angle to have a better grip on the pencil and to see the paper better.

Isn't BIC just a ballpoint pen brand? You compare BIC vs ballpoint, but isn't that the same thing?

It is but I specify the BIC pens because in my experience nicer ball point pens release more ink than the cheaper BIC pens. The cheaper BIC pens give you more control over shading similar to a pencil which is unique to them. I should have articulated that better.
