In this video I take you through my most recent drawing 'Solitude' from start to finish. I break down the process step for step and explain the different tools and techniques I used along the way. I found it really interesting to go back and find words to describe the different stages and I'm hoping to make more videos like this soon. This might help anyone looking for how to get realistic skin textures or improve pencil shading techniques. Hopefully this timelapse will be useful for anyone looking to pursue a career in art or even just to get started with hyper-realistic pencil drawings. Can't wait to hear what you think!

I was surprised when you said turpentine lol! I had a 60 hour paint fest in my small kitchen and instead of an evening it ended up being 3 days, I was totally poisoned and went 80 miles to London to have my USA passport renewed, I was so disoriented but when the photos came I ran to the passport office and passed the photos over without looking at them, the desk clerk looked at me by which time I know I looked crazy. 3 weeks later the passport turned up and when I opened it, I saw my face was orange all around the hair line and cheeks with a look of infected angry unatural vibrant pink on my nose, lips and eyes😳🥵! I thought low odour meant no odour toxicity..........😬
