Same, but I was kind of reminded this winter when we got a brief icing freeze. There was just enough that you could go skating on the street on the first day. Second day was still iced over but the temp was warmer so the ice wasn't hard enough. It was the first time I had laced up in about a decade. At first I was so unsure about whether or not the ice would hold that I was baby stepping around. Felt like back when I was learning to skate all those years ago. Once I realized it was fine and I trusted it to survive the edges it was like riding a bike. Couldnt go hard or anything, but definitely enough for a leisurely street game. The second day I was too confident though. It had gotten warmer and my first edge cut went straight through the ice and I went face-first into the driveway. Was fun though.
