Its simple really, Boots and heavy riot gear. I'm a Marine, and when you wear boots and combat gear in muddy environments, you must fight to stay in constant motion. Once mud cakes on your boots, you're done. They stopped moving in the mud, and their feet sank into the mud. What they should've been doing is staying on toes, constantly shuffling feet, and never stopping. Once you do, its like standing in cement. I've had to pull a few Marines and push a few vehicles out of mud because they stop. TLDR: When interacting with mud, maintain constant motion. This goes for driving as well. No speeding or slowing, no sudden movements; normal, controlled movements.

Rewatching this video I realized something. The Mud Wizard has the greatest origin story of all time. When he shows up, he's holding a book of spells. He asks if they're okay, and they clearly aren't. So around the one minute mark, the wizard tries to help them by giving them the book. Ten seconds later they shoo him away. He then tries to give it to them again, when one of the guys is fighting for his life, one of the officers throw away the book of spells. This visibly worries the wizard. He tries to give it to the police officers one last time, only for it to be thrown away again. At that moment, The Mud Wizard decided to use his powers for evil. Up to this point, the wizard believed that if he showed the officers an act of kindness(saving them from the mud), they'd see what the protestors were doing was right. But then the wizard realized that people who throw away help without reason cannot be reasoned with, and activated 5% of his true power.

Mud wizard is actually very meta for team fight. It’s low mana cost and massive AOE skill can stop enemy team from fighting effectively. One of the skill can knockdown enemies to the mud and stun them for a very long time. With the passive he had, he can give their allies a free ranged skill to slow enemies down.

Snow offers an amazing AOE slow as well as camouflage if given enough experience, and if you decide to go full aggro by investing in the ice skill tree you can get your teammates ice packed snowballs which surpass mudball by MILES.

what makes it even funnier is that this is a medieval battle tactic, they would flood the marshlands either manually or diverting flow and then go into battle armorless- This would make them light enough to not get stuck on the mud, however the enemies all are armored and medieval armor is heavy, so as the enemies sunk and were unable to fight they would get destroyed by arrows or quick stabs.

Plate Metal would not be anywhere close to bullet*proof* against modern firearms. Some tests have been done, notably by a gun channel with very low quality armor and it stopped a .22 but not much else, but even high quality medieval armor wouldn’t stop much

@@zjjohnson3827 I think the original commeter is referring to the 1997 North Hollywood Shootout which you're right in saying wasn't proper medieval style plate armor. However the guys in that case did wear extremely heavy duty armor (composite, military grade balistic vests with super thick metal underplating). What happened in that case was that the guys armor and the way that cops were trained to aim basically made it impossible for their pistols to actually put them out of action while the robbers were shooting back with suppressing fire. One of the reasons they were eventually killed in the Shootout was because the weight of their armor and the weight of the bags of cash they stole slowed them down enough that the cops were able to get behind them and shoot them in their unarmored legs before they could reach their getaway car.
