I'm pretty sure that's nothing to be surprised since I just heard of them from AVGN long ago but never checked them out till recently and I don't live in the states and never been interested in magic. I've only seen the Fool us shows and 3 seasons of Bullshit, Teller doesn't talk there. I know Teller is not mute(I looked it up) but this was the first time I actually heard him talk. All that aside the comment was meant to be comical.

Seeing with your own eyes the grandiose ancient structures, battered and faded by the sands of time. The great men who built them, long gone and long forgotten. I watch this only for Karam. around 19:50 when he picks up the end cup, you can see him pick up the ball with his last two fingers and curl them as if to palm it. THEN as the cup comes down his fingers stop, he deposits the ball back under the cup and curls his fingers as if he is still palming the ball. I believe he can do the trick better but he didn't know how knowledgeable Tellers is so he made the pantomime broad so Teller wouldn't miss it. However Teller saw Karam drop his two fingers while the cup was still in the air and politely looked away to allow for the palm, and he missed the move entirely. Karam performed the palm much more discretely earlier in the video, it was broad on purpose. It is so subtle because he is miming such a subtle movement to begin with. SO SMOOTH! I can talk about it, I know exactly how he does it, but dammit he is good!

lol...Not to say that egg bag was not meant as a gift, but, indeed if you compliment something in that culture it will be offered as a gift, as a sign of politeness. as a sign of politeness you are expected to say "no no no, I can't accept" 3 times. If they insist, then yes, accept it graciously, but first offer....Teller stole that old bitty's bag yo :P

i was thinking the same thing.. i hope he offered something in return as i could see it being a nice gift for him with a story BUT, hes a millionaire and that was probably her prized possession..

Dutch Boss I had no idea. Hopefully he is able to send the bag and some nice things back to them. Judging by their environment, I have my doubts on the success of such a plan.

Paul Merlino They do help the magicians that they visit, but they don't publicly admit it because they don't want people to think they're doing it for the wrong reasons or to profit from it. They do a bunch of charity events and stuff.

HOLY POOP! HE SPOKE!!! lol Great stuff gentlemen! Loved the clear cup demo! It is fun to watch the tricks without knowing how their done, but in my humble opinion, it is FAR MORE IMPRESSIVE to know how it is done so that one can marvel at the exceptionally polished skills and moves that can only be gained by THOUSANDS of hours of practice!!
