One take away, Rihanna was a HIT MONSTER!!!!! They do these so well, I think we need one for the top songs of each year....what you all say??? LOL. Those transitions are crazy! EXACTLY, for me it's whoever is singing at that certain point!

They always do these all the way through 3 times and then pick the best one of the 3. Love these too.

In the very beginning this was the format they used to record all their videos. In one of their apartments, "The Trio" sitting up on the back of a couch, Avi and Kevin seated on the couch and one microphone in front of them. Recording on an iPad and posting on KZbin, it was a cheap and effective way to get their music 'out there' after the record company dropped them (@holes!). I loved this set-up because you could *SEE* and *HEAR* what each member was doing. This one looks like it might be a sound-booth (better acoustics) using stools and chairs with bigger/better multiple mics. While I like the higher budget, beautiful and artistic videos they produce today...I still prefer this more casual, intimate sharing of their musical talent.

Okay, so this is one of my favorites. But also, there are 3 videos they released over a course of a few months when Avi left and Matt replaced him (this, New Rulesx are you that somebody, and Havana) that were kind of like, here is Matt, so don't worry. Then they went on hiatus while I guess Matt learned the catalogue (Kirstie went on Broadway, Scott got into producing and band creation, I believe that is when Mitch developed Messers even though it took a bit for him to release stuff as him).

Beyoncé medley 6. Feelin myself. Mitch and Scott. Channel Nickki and Beyonce 7, frozen medley. They were pretty drunk and it’s very funny 8. Hip hop goes broadway part one and two. Very fun

Another one they have that is like an evolution is when they do medleys. The have top pop medley which was basically promotion for their top pop vol 1 album. They did a medley of all the songs on the album. So similar to the evolutions when it comes to multiple songs transitions just with songs from multiple artists.

Well a happy Pentatonix Friday to you! You are right on with your commentary, matt and Kevin gel together perfectly and I am with you on the evolution videos being musical perfection. It appears you may be on your way to being a raging pentaholic, it's ok we're harmless. I have about twenty favorites, and am holding hope that one day I'll see a new one called either evolution of Radiohead or evolution of prince, I could add that to my bucket list. On the world tour this year, Kevin and Matt have done an audience singalong so the other three can go offstage and take a break. Kevin definitely isn’t adding any bass. He’s a tenor and he’s strictly beatboxing where you mentioned it.This time when Matt was singing, the trio in the back are singing in three part harmony and Scott is the lowest of the three parts. Other songs when the bass is singing, Scott will take over the bass line, but that’s not what’s happening in the part that you pointed it out.

I don't think it's that she has a lot of hits (though I am sure she does) it's an 'Evolution' so like when they did Michael Jackson one, they started in the start of his career with the Jackson 5 and then proceeded through his albums. I would suggest watching La La Latch next, Problem, or New Rules x Are You That Somebody. To Pentaholics, your favorite PTX song is the song you are currently listening to lol. Also....Pentatonix has come out with a new original song 'I Rise' it doesn't have an official video yet but there is an official visualizer with lyrics, as well as a few live performances caught on fan cam during their USA leg of their tour this year.
