The mother is an enabler towards the son, and the step mom comes across immature. That’s the kids father he has a right to take the phone he just has to give it back. Also what is going on where this child cannot have access to the internet and court ordered to have extreme limited access 🤔
@OriginalAsherella3 ай бұрын
Same question!! No one is wondering why the kid can’t go on specific sites? It is something violent or even worse. I am not sure why everyone is focusing on the step mom?

Im curious as to the reason why the 15 year olds internet access is prohibited. Some kind of criminal behavior?
@peryole6 ай бұрын
@thtsnotmiait wasn't court ordered, so probably corn sites and what teenage boy doesn't visit corn sites, my entire hard drive as a teenager were movie downloads and corn downloads from limewire.

I have a friend whose son was sent to a camp for addictions and his addiction was technology. It wasn't that he was doing anything bad but his whole life depended on technology to the point where his grades dropped, he wouldn't leave his room and would become violent if his parents tried taking laptop, phone etc away Not sure if this is part of the reason for the child in this case to be restricted from internet usage.

17:06 YIKES! The stepmom wasn’t coming across that great most of the hearing but this second her true colors shined right through. She obviously smashed the phone and instigates a lot of this drama. Should mom have been monitoring the situation, yes. But stepmom needs to step off.

This is how you know JM is so out of touch with the real world. $50 is the normal monthly cost for a cellphone line. The new wife is annoying. She needs to mind her beeswax...and yes, the defendants purposely destroyed the phone. While they may want to bring this up in family court they may want to keep it hushed as they this behavior of them destroying the phone will have the judge thinking that they may not be the best choice for full or 50% custody.
@tennisstar20115 ай бұрын
The plaintiff clearly states her bill is $291.00/m and she has 5 lines on the plan. $50/m for his line adds up. Not sure why that wasn’t clicking for JM.

I'm scared for the son because there is no way the phone just so happen to break on the STEP MOTHER watch,and when she said "he tried me" i felt so uncomfortable. From beginning to end she was so annoying and weird, and it must be so scary to have no way to communicate with your mom if that lady tries to do something and the dad lets her.

Sounds like, the son is a SO who’s internet usage is being monitored due to him looking at images of underage children, he should not have a phone.
@ashley_always78506 ай бұрын
That’s exactly what I was thinking bc why would the law feel the need to monitor or remove internet access for any other reason. His mom is doing him a huge disservice by allowing him to “cut corners” instead of following the rules of his program. Mom should follow Dad’s lead and help their son be a responsible young man.
@cindymann36736 ай бұрын
Exactly! Commenters are focused on step-mom and how she burst into the room, but the son has issues! They are trying to prevent what they can. The mom is clearly an enabler, to the point she says the son explained why he visited the website one last time…what!?!?

It's immediately obvious who the guilty party is: The dad who doesn't allow his kid to have a cellphone, somehow didn't notice this phone dropped in the driveway, to which the stepmom "accidentally" ran over it.
