This is so much better without the background music. Really appreciate it. Rewatching it again now!

Hi, thank you for your videos. I’m in Canada zone 5b/6. When would be the earliest I could plant snapdragons outside under non heated low tunnels? Thanks

Does the soil that the ranunculus are being presprouted in need to be moist or will that rot the corm?
@jillianmartens978811 ай бұрын
So you start larkspur and bachelor button in seed trays? Thought they didn’t like that but had really poor germination last year just direct seeding them. Thanks 😊
@PepperHarrow11 ай бұрын
We sow them both in trays. If you go back and search the channel, check out seed starting recommendations on larkspur & bupleurum. It’s on the same video. Lots of folks have told me they use my method and have great success.

After you harden off your ranunculus do you plant them outside or in a hoop house protected from the elements?
@PepperHarrow11 ай бұрын
Yes, we do plant them in a hoop house to protect them a little from the cold. The ends are off, but it's still warm enough to keep them a bit more protected than if they were out in the field.

around the 8 minute mark you talk about dates to plant out and be able to harvest. Are these dates for the outdoor flowers or in a hoop house? Like with the snaps, larkspur, etc...
@PepperHarrow11 ай бұрын
We plant them into the hoop house around that time

Would the hoop house be heated? Thanks
@Meny197311 ай бұрын
Hi, I stared stocks, they are sprouting. I have them inside with heat mat and light. IS that too much heat?
@PepperHarrow11 ай бұрын
If it’s already warm inside they don’t need the heat mat to germinate.

I'm presprouting my ranuculus & anemones in 40-50 range. What do you all think? Too cold?
@PepperHarrow11 ай бұрын
We're pre-sprouting at 60. You should be fine above 50. 40 seems a bit cool but they may pre-sprout, just slower. Let us know the results!

Do you water the ranunculus in the tray ?
@PepperHarrow11 ай бұрын
Yes. I watered after.

Hi Jenn, you said 5B. Is that the new zoning or old? I was 5B in NY but now 6. Just curious if I really need to change when I plant these!
@PepperHarrow11 ай бұрын
Hi Charlotte! Our zone didn't change with the latest map, so we're still 5b. If yours changed a little, you'll be ahead of us a couple of weeks.

Oh good to know you don't have to cover them with soil🎉
