Great recipe! thanks! I just made it yesterday. I did a couple things different. After I flipped the carrots (after 20 min), I set the timer for another 20 and when it got down to about 5 min, I took them out, drizzled the maple syrup, butter, lemon juice mix on them and then put them back in. When done, I lightly added the parsley and some basil flakes. Sooooo good. Can't wait to try more of your great recipes.

I love this, Chef Joel. I'm definitely going to try this recipe. My niece just gave me the last of her carrots from her farm and she always gives me them with the carrot tops. Joel my good Aussie friend , great recipe. We grow real baby/small carrots with the greens on top , appx. 4 inches long , par boil for appx. 7-8 minutes until tender, strain , dry , & saute' with butter & real honey & I know this sounds weird , but when nearly finished we put fresh cracked black pepper on them, sometimes I do use real maple syrup, ( no pancake syrup) they are delicious, cheers mate

@@recipe30 As a Canadian I am embarrassed with how the label makes you think it really is maple syrup. Ingredients in the maker's website are natural cane syrup, pure maple syrup, and maple flavouring. I have no idea why one would use this product instead of straight maple syrup. Go with Quebec maple syrup instead next time.
