In the video I said "KC3OWA" when I should have said KC3WOA. Sorry for the mix up, but thank you for the suggestion! - First Item shown was made by Plastikkapussi on Thingiverse (He hams)- www.thingiverse.com/thing:36422 - My version of the above file - www.thingiverse.com/thing:663... - EFHW Dude Coil mentioned in the video - www.thingiverse.com/thing:653... Alternatively, I use a vice grip. If anything; this video helps you think creatively. Cheers.

Put the two ends in a pair of channel locks, loop stuck into the end of the chuck of a cordless drill...bam.

@@HAMRADIODUDEI printed out your modified wire twister because it’s cool and have a 3d printer, but those safety wire pliers certainly look like a must have for the tool box! The things that you can learn on KZbin and those who comment too

great idea's. for large Mag wire I use a drill to do twisting. for the 49:1 you don't need twist. you can just make one winding and tap at 2 or 3 turns . this works better with AWG 14/12/10 Mag wire. A stack of 3 FT240-61 cores with 10 AWG wound 49:1 with tap at 2 turns. and 2-220 PF 3KV in series can take 1.5 KW . even 1 KW FT8 with out much heating. this on 10/12 meters mono band wire cut as vertical with ground plain. the number of twist does not matter. just make it look good. you want tight windings on the core and stay in place. a good twist helps with that . 73's

I use nylon blocks in a pair of locking plyers click twist done, no waste

Or a safety wire plier does the same thing plus it cuts, bends, and pulls wire.
