Yeah, Key is criminally underrated, especially his dancing, but his vocal talent as well, but also in this mini album Key is using more of the vocal techniques he uses when he does musicals and not his usual tones he uses in most of Shinee’s songs

I don't understand why people are surprised by his vocal range, as if they didn't know he could sing. KEY is a top vocalist in the industry and it is well known for the vocal power that his voice has even in his natural tone when speaking, his register is high. In addition to the unique and characteristic tone of his voice that makes him unique and unmistakable. Not to mention, he's a complete performer with a strong aura on stage. KEY from SHINee Kings ofc!

KEY is known for being the iconic "All rounder of All rounders" of the music industry ... with strong vocal, rap, dance and perfomance skills. In addition to possessing a strong aura on stage. you should react to his album. He fought hard with SM staff to respect the concept and ideas that he had for 14 years in mind to finally make it happen by bringing back the feeling of "retro space" on his comeback after almost 3 years since his solo debut. his album, songs, MV, outfits, design album, choreography and everything in general came from deep within him.

The concept for this comeback was Retro Space ( as in Space imagined in the past). Everything you see this comeback was Key's doing. It's his concept, his designs, his fashion, song choices, down to what the dancers wore. It was his dream to do this concept for a long time. I am so glad that our Key is finally getting the recognition he deserves. More power to him. I am proud of him.

When shawols say SHINee are all vocals we literally mean it, its not just jonghyun and onew ahahaha. A lot of ppl have said this in the comments already but ya Key is so underrated as an artist he once mentioned when he was having a dance practice with choreographer Rino that a lot of ppl just know him as the “funny guy” on tv and Rino was shocked lol cause ofc she knows keys capabilities as an artist. While it is true key is very entertaining he is also extremely talented and definitely an all rounder :)

I really like your reaction. I am totally in love with Bad Love, somehow this song makes me feel nostalgic for a period of time that I didn’t live. The whole mini album is a gem and the best thing ever is that Key was very involved with the concept and production. There are actually two official performance videos for Bad Love, one on SM and another for 1theK if you're interested in seeing more of the dance. His dance crew are incredible. His first album was such quality I didn't think he could top it but I stand corrected. So proud he finally got his first win today. He performed 3 of the b-sides on music shows and the choreo for each is fascinating, Yellow Tape is kind of smooth and groovy, Saturday Night is a bit broadwayish and Helium is more like a girl group style.

I loved Key's solo debut album FACE a lot. All the songs were Bops. But Bad Love has something extra. This is just SO Key! I'm sure all Shawol's can appreciate what I mean. The entire concept & execution of Bad Love has Key's aesthetic all over it. The album is sick. Helium especially is a hard song to sing, and Key nailed it as always.

In 'hate that', i feel like they did really well in adjusting their singing to match the song and each other cuz I listened to shinee/key and taeyeon songs A LOT and I feel like this is not their usual/default singing style, especially key. If you were impressed with his vocal capabilities in Bad love, you should definitely check out each song of his mini album. His voice is naturally leaning towards a high register and in this album... well the register is globally very high. Helium is probably the one with the highest register with him using falsetto for like 70% of the song, it's super impressive!

Considering how much of an all rounder group Shinee is, there really is no surprise that Key as a soloist is just so talented. It just devastates me when people don’t recognize him for his brilliance when it comes to his creative ideas. Like, anyone can look at this video and tell that Key had such a huge part in designing and coming up and executing these concepts. A lot of people praise Taemin for his artistic hand in his releases/albums (praise that is well deserved, because we all know how hard he works to achieve the music style and concepts he wants) but tend to overlook Key who is an absolute genius at his craft as well. And that’s a real shame because this album (and his previous ones as well) are absolute masterpieces.
