I once had the D Peg decide to completely eject itself from my instrument during a Jam at fiddle camp...

On my school cello last year my C string peg used to slip all the time. Luckily I only used that cello for rehearsals so I never had it happen with a performance. Still such a pain

This happened during my concert in 8th grade and the student teacher had to tune my violin during the concert and after it still slipped 😭

As a violinist this happens on stage with my A string it popped down so loose it was falling off so I had to play super high on the D string😂 and then off stage while I was retuning my A it snapped and we had to go back on stage luckily I was able to change it and go on stage no problem😅

Yes! I was playing Brahms’s e minor Sonata and when I got to measure 5(!) my end pin went slipping away as I shifted to the D#. The string didn’t slide, my rock stop did!
