This film presented by the National Rifle Association (NRA) features the American hunter Sam Heatwolf, Jr. reading the famed book “Meditations on Hunting” by José Ortega y Gasset. The book, which dates to 1942, is revered by hunters; it tells the philosophies and history of hunting from the beginning of mankind. It is recited by actor Francisco Forcades as the voice of author José Ortega y Gasset, with pencil-drawn illustrations by Lewis Brown. The film is produced and directed by Roger Barlow.

Remember man is an apex predator-what is unique about man he uses tools to do the task at hand a gun is a primary tool for a hunter. Man does not have powerful jaws,sharp claws as other creatures have. So he has to use tools-bow&arrow or guns.

I don’t agree with first comment-NRA DOES NOT endorse the owning or use of firearms by all. NRA does not support use or owning of guns by lawbreakers.
