Side note. The seven doors were they all came out was donated by the Canadian govt. to the UN in 1953. It is made of nickel and silver. Each door is faced with four bas-relief panels symbolizing peace, justice, truth and fraternity, ideals upon which the United Nations is founded. Who would thought that in the year 2021 seven young men from Korea called BTS would be using this. As if it was really made for them. Who would donate seven not eight or six or four doors to make it even. Maybe this what 7FATE is.

This is my favorite live performance of PTD - stripped down to the bare essentials. They had to come up with new choreo for the first 90 seconds, dance between rows of desks and in aisles that are 5 - 6 feet wide, cover about 120 feet inside the building, and they’re doing all this at 1 AM on Sunday. If I have the timeline right, they had a few hours to sleep and came back to do the outside scenes in the early afternoon. And then they were back on Monday for their 8 AM speech! 2:51 I still can’t believe Jimin was able to turn, leap down the steps, turn again, and be ready to sing again in just 3 beats. Plus they just look so happy to be outside especially when they see the backup dancers. Such an amazing achievement to pull this off.

I am the same way when I see suga smile because I am an intervert myself and hardly smiled even though I was having fun and a lot of times I was serious but us intervert can be some of the funniest and silliest people in our own invironment or doing something we love. I saw a clip of one of the back up dancers being interviewed and he said they were the nicest band they came and talked with them and thanks them and made sure they were okay, not too many bands do that so that was cool. They have achieved so much being at the UN proves that no body else has done that but I believe they really do want a Grammy and they deserve it , if they don't get one after all they have done this year the grammys are rigged but hey thats just my opinion. They had worked hard for this performance on top of practising harder for their UNGA speech. They had travelled 10+ hours from Korea to New York then went for rehearsal at the UNGA venue at night and followed with the filming from 1 am till Sunday morning. The editors also worked very hard to get the video ready by next day for the UNGA. I think the reason you are my all time favourite reactor is that you understand and acknowledge WHY BTS is the powerhouse and force to be reckoned with that they are. I always thought BTS is a kind of a "perfect storm". it's a combination of raw talent, determination and hard work, versatility (they all bring something different to the table, which allows them to do different things and styles), close bond and circumstances (some of them joined BH practically by "accident"). they pretty much don't have any flaws as a group (as humans sure, they're not perfect, but as a boy group concept, BTS is almost perfect). they are a 1 in a million winning lottery ticket.

An actually brief comment from me cos life has gotten busier (than when I wrote a comment yesterday???) 😅 but just wanted to say 'kudos' for doing a (great) reaction to this definitely 'ground-breaking' performance by BTS at the UNGA!!!!!👍👍👍 I think I recall them saying somewhere that they shot this very, very early in the morning. They would've been completely jetlagged too. Then a few hours' token rest back at the hotel, and then back to the UN again for their speech. Absolutely insane.☕☕☕⭐⭐⭐

and that performance took hours because the one inside the building was done at dawn and then they did the one outside when it was morning. they said they went from the airport to shoot the inside part for a couple of hours, rest a bit and then did the other shoot.
