Gutted to have missed this video, as the new APLS intrigues me, but I’m still on the fence about it. Love the cumin blast at the start taming the sweetness, but, once the sweetness dominates, I can’t decide if it’s a little too sweet for me. As for the sillage, I had one spray of this on the back of my hand last week and a couple of family members commented on it at dinner. I don’t think performance will be an issue with this one. Great video as always, Monsieur P. As a side note, I’m wearing Bianchi’s Dark Side tonight, and there’s certainly some degree of overlap. Not sure which I prefer….

Ahhhh, I'm sighing with relief. APLS was cut right when I first discovered MFK, so I've never tried it. However, I've heard such immense praise for it that it has become a bit of a mythological treasure in my mind. I've been so nervous, despite never trying the original, because I knew if the feedback for the new one was bad I would continue to have this eternal longing for the original. I was absolutely giddy to see your face light up. I will definitely be seeking this one out.

Absolue pour le Soir is my favorite from MFK and I'm very happy that the new formulation is still good! I looked up Absolue por le Matin on fragantica. Interestingly, French fragantica gives it quite low scores, while the US fragantica gives it high scores. Absolue pour le Soir was similar across both countries.

I went to a couple MFK boutiques in Paris last week and heard from their sales associates their new exclusive perfumes should arrive in Paris only around March 2025 😮 I thought I’d be lucky to get at least a sample of these, but nope… should take even longer to arrive in Canada 😢

You’re most definitely not a dolt. I don’t have set days/times, mainly because I have to juggle videos with a day job and other commitments. However, Sundays at 1700 UK time seems to be a ‘slot’ I go for pretty often.
