More great content from the Futur! The 5 p’s that are common to Key People of Influence: 1.) Pitch. Good at enrolling people into a way of thinking or behavior. 2.) Publish Content. Easy to spend 7 hours with person through different media sources. 3.) Product Ecosystem. Key person is easily accessible but has products and businesses around them that cost more to engage with. 4.) Profile. Gaurd/Control reputation. “Don’t chase spotlight!“ rather shine light on idea. 5.) Partner. Amplify message with meaningful partnerships. Thanks again!

Daniel Priestley dropping the gold right here. This is only the beginning. I've been through Dent's KPI program and used the principles from the program (and the Key Person of Influence book) to help two separate Australian companies and their CEOs become #1 in their respective industries (as determined by industry peers). Really awesome to see Chris (a KPI in his own right) and Daniel jamming on this topic.

Being a key person of influence (KPI) works well but within limitations lest this strength turns out to you becoming a key person of dependency (KPD), a huge factor that limits and even stiffles the growth of many businesses we see today! When you simply keep tge KPI concept within the boundaries of a subject matter expert (SME), then this has the potential of propelling you into a space where you can create much value without necessarily being locked into the same opportunities!

These are the key learning points/take-aways that I've had. Thank you Chris, Daniel and the Futur for arranging this amazing episode. 4:34 - 6:07 Brand engines How to connect with people to think/talk about what you think and want to talk about "technology is not necessarily your friend" "a microphone is only valuable if you know how to sing" 6:30 - 9:21 lining up risks and value between us and clients 12:09 - 15:46 people buy into the people behind this business, before they buy into the products and services transfer positive energy inbound opportunities get energized by the work 19:40 - 21:14 how branding can enrol someone into something they hvt considered before 21:50 - 24:08 how to become better a pitching, to influence how people think and behave - what is our purpose beyond money* - what is the dent you want to make in the world 24:08 - 25:58 it is important to get other people clear even if you can't do it for yourself entrepreneurs are just trying to figure to move forward entrepreneurs are helping other people move forward 26:04 - 32:04 how to get past imposter monster syndromes 1. prolific beats perfect, get over the idea of putting out the perfect thing 2. how to scale interaction, to share your vision and to influence people 3. how to help people remember you/your business 33:18 - 36:27 how to create a product ecosystem * this is the BMW thing i was talking about - 4 product categories to maximise performance 1. Gift 2. Product for prospects, easy first thing for people to engage/buy 3. Core offering 4. Product for clients all of these pillars build trust attention, fulfil a need or a purpose -> to make an ecosystem 36:27 - 45:13 Example of ecosystem 40:56 * - People should enjoy the journey of using a good product 50:59 - 52:58 how to overcome the illusion that we have no resource how to structure these deals/partnerships 55:02 - 59:16 understanding and how to spot trends trend of data analytics, and curating personalized experience in the future, it could be as easy as social media to do data analytics and personalization 59:16 - 1:02:12 "Friendship is a data problem" - Daniel Priestley figuring out what your customer base in interested in, so you can help create that experience for them
