chaotixninja5 Apparently, peta haven't seen ANY episodes of the Pokemon anime, like when Ash tried to DEFEND Pikachu from a flock of Spearows, or when during the first Pokemon movie, Ash tries to convince Mewtwo that NOT all humans are cut from the same cloth, and that humans AND Pokemon CAN live together, as friends, and as companions. Shit, in Pokemon lore, some people ACTUALLY got MARRIED to their Pokemon! I'm not making that up! So, someone tell those idiots who run peta, that Pokemon promotes friendship, and trusting and believing in your Pokemon as friends, NOT as slaves to be used and abused. Think of peta as a real life evil team from the series, like Team Rocket, or Team Plasma (according to people commenting here), but without the loveable villains like Jessie, James, and Meowth. They're all basically just Ghetsis from Black And White. Except they slaughter animals, and only care about making shitty flash games, and not about actually trying to treat animals right. There was also the time when Ash tried to get Pikachu help by biking to the nearest Pokemon Center, to heal him AFTER Pikachu used his Thunderbolt move to get rid of the Spearows, and it tired them both out, but Ash STILL tried to get him some help, so, how's that for NOT showing that he cares about Pikachu, peta? Sure, Ash tried to get Pikachu in the pokeball, but pikachu didn't want to, but they eventually became best friends anyways, with Pikachu cutely residing on Ash's shoulder instead, making them iconic and inseparable throughout the series. So, it's pretty obvious they don't know shit. Also, points for the Kingdom Hearts reference, dude. Sorry this was long, I just REALLY despise peta. Have a great day/night.

It's not that I've done research, it's that I've grown up WITH Pokemon, so I knew these things first hand, and I even saw the first movie in theaters with my dad, when I was a kid. From the first episodes of Pokemon to the movies, I mean i was born in 1993 so I was about 3 when Pokemon was first released in 1996, and my first exposure to it WAS the anime. I wouldn't end up playing the games until years later, and I somehow had rented a Japanese version of Pokemon Stadium, which I couldn't beat because I don't speak Japanese. I've been a fan of Pokemon ever since it started, and played every main series entry, even to this day. I reserved Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. The thing about people marrying their Pokemon, I honestly forgot which game it was in, because I haven't been playing the games as often, though. I've been working on playing other games though. I do have to ask, when you said it's fucking adorable, what did you mean? Also, your name sounds familiar. Are you, like, famous or something?

One thing I’m always ticked off about is that people think that every egg we eat has the potential to hatch into a chicken. This isn’t true. A hen will always lay eggs whether or not there is a rooster present. If a rooster fertilizes the eggs, they can hatch into chicks. If there isn’t a rooster, the eggs never hatch into chicks. I'd like to disprove the Pokemon Animal Violence thing even though I'm sure nobody actually does that because of Pokemon. 1) Pokemon don't die due to Trainer Battles or fight for survival. They faint, but will get up again. In Pokemon Black and White 2, you may encounter N's released Pokemon (which you can tell by a quick animation similar to a shiny) and capture them, but if they get knocked out, they aren't gone forever. You can encounter them again if you KO them. 2) The pope said it doesn't send bad messages because friendship is one of the key elements in the game. In fact, some pokemon like Riolu (pre-evolution to Lucario) evolve when their friendship is maxed out. There are 2 moves based on friendship (both of which I forgot the names), one of them requiring higher friendship and the other lower, but the latter is way too difficult to get the maximum damage from. 3) There are some pokemon based on rocks, sludge, trash, keys, balls, etc. That you can legitimately catch and use in battle. And some of them even evolve. I didn't realize my pet rock was in danger from animal fighting. I hope my pet trash bag doesn't want to leave me because I play pokemon. I could continue, but this comment is long enough as it is. I even cut some of my reasons to shorten this comment (no one's going to read a comment that long)

Dear Peta: I'm a meat eater, but I'm not a serial killer. I only support hunting if you are starving in the wilderness but I detest hunting for sport and the fur trade. I go to Aquariums zoos and sanctuaries but I will not support a zoo that doesn't take care of the animals or works with charities to prevent deforestation of the animals habitat and I loath SeaWorld. I have a cat and will often joke around and tease her when she's feeling playful but I would never ever dream of being cruel or abusing her in any way because she's part of my family. I Love Animals, and I will not put up with some profit gaining organization telling me I'm a murderer for eating meat and keeping a domestic companion, since half the pets they bring in they put down even if they are healthy while also taking away pets from perfectly happy households. There have been reports of PETA actually abducting pets to take them to their kill shelters. Said kill shelters also dump the animals' bodies in dumpsters. I believe there also was a case where a PETA employee went to a dog show and fed the dogs there chocolate and biscuits covered in antifreeze.
