I’ve greatly missed your content Pete. I left a couple of questions on your Q&A and was wondering when you might do the video. Sorry to hear that you had some issues but, good to hear that you’re coping with them. Your audience cares about you Pete and we greatly appreciate the effort you put into your videos. We WOULD watch ANY video that you put out and it has been great to see you joining the panel again on Sam’s Casual Watch Reviews livestreams. 👍 Your input makes it my favourite Watch livestream to watch. It is hard to keep the ideas flowing and it is always great to get input from your viewers in the form of your Q&A’s. Take care and don’t stress too much about the topics, we love your opinions on all sorts. Looking forward to your SOTC video and any future content that you grace us with my friend. As a Military Watch collector it’s going to be great to hear your refreshed take on Military Watches. Looking forward to that one. ✊

Great to see you back Pete, both here and on Casual Watch Talk. Unfortunately, it has been noticeable that a number of content providers have mentioned that the algorithm has figured in their goals for 2024. I feel this does not bode well for the either the variety or quality of views that we will be exposed to in this hobby. More power to you.

Welcome back!! Your over-thinking and over-analyzing is much appreciated, partly because it reminds me that I’m not the only one who does it. :-) You have a knack for identifying the big stories before anyone else (e.g., colorful Rolex OPs). What is the next stealth topic that you see?

Welcome back.Looking forward to your CWC video.Over twenty years ago I bought the pilots chronograph NOS that had been destined for your naval aviators. Unusual in having date at 3oclock and it served as my daily wear.Friends thought me mad to spend about 400 pounds back then.Silvermans who own CWC turned up some more Valjoux NOS movements, cased them and selling for 4000 pounds each.I have no problem with this but,the horror, the cases are polished. My original which has become vintage is enjoying semi retirement and might now be my most valuable piece.Re form and function mil spec pieces meet that brief. All the best.

Good to see you back! I don't really care about production quality. I'm here for your ramblings and insights. So I hope you find your way to release content again without stressing out. As a slightly inebriated Irishman once said (in praise of Guinness - but still ...): Sudden prayer makes God jump

Glad to see you back and most importantly healthy! I was worried you had some sort of medical issue. Your videos are always insightful, I'd much rather you have fun with it than trying to chase the algorithm.

When in doubt, travel. Probably the best motto i know. Nice you're back, nice you're all well. (Although i've seen you around ;) !! No one belongs to anyone, we're just happy to meet, once in a while. Stay happy, enjoy whatever you love Pete, cheers. Till we meet again... PS Not that it matters, but in description, some dates are... way ahead. Don't blame me Pete, my eye always hits... obvious mismatches! My adhd? Don't we all have some...?

Pete, good to here from you! Allright by me. Whatever you put out is good. Your vid title page and pic are appropriate. Radio contact re-established. In July I bought my retirement watch a BB 58 in Silver and a Seiko 0L65 save the Ocean, the one with the Grand Seiko movement in it but not tweaked to full function. The blue astrolabe dial is interesting. I also bought vintage military watches and will discuss in another vid comment. I did look at the Mark XX , Spitfire and BB ceramic with META as you suggested and passed them all over. The grey dial on the BB 925 pops and has a distinctive look. Glad your back. Regards, Starlight

That’s true. Which is why I guess watch KZbinrs who are not grey market dealers end up with watch fatigue and let the channel drift away (Bark and Jack for example)

The curse of re-branding. I said at the time that these channels (cf. "Gringa") were more enjoyable when they had gawky names and rough-and-ready production values; that was all part of the fun. Even when not monetized, re-branding leads to self-corporatisation and formulaicness. Still interesting, but the freshness is gone. That's the nature of the beast.

Hi Pete, I have watched a couple of your videos and have really enjoyed them as I am very interested in watches from Mühle Glashütte. I appreciate your honesty and will be subscribing to your channel. BTW. I would be happy for you to review my watch when I purchase it if you are looking for content? It is probably another Mühle but am yet to decide which model. Let me know if you would be interested and I will gladly let you peel the stickers off 👍
