How nice to see the odious Clive Anderson completely outclassed by the late, great Peter Cook.

To Peter Cook fans who may not be familiar, his " Why Bother" CD (1993) with Chris Morris is probably his best later work. Very strongly recommended ! ( Sir Arthur Streeb Greebling)
@championsoundrecords4 жыл бұрын
Yes genius. Have it on Tape or CD somewhere. Wasn't it Peter Cooks final or penultimate recording? Passing the surreal comedy baton to Morris and his cohorts.

One of the greats. I’m surprised Ricky Gervais looks to Laurel & Hardy as his hero’s, when in UK we had Spike, Pete & Dud & Pythons.

I used to like Clive Anderson when this first aired, the older I get, the more I realise what an odious twerp he was - it's wonderful to watch him cower and be outgunned by a true comic brain.

Cook's ok in short bursts, but he deliberately avoids questions, the answer to which, his public might like to know. So we get --10 minutes? of disruptive drivel.
