Not really, actually. I mean, yes, he got a lucky guess there with Harry, but Norman was just an asshole here, he compared a girl he met for 5 Minutes and didn't give any sign with his wife. This is actually a typical misogynistic behavior - One woman is mean to you, all woman are like that. Mary Jane is just a teenage girl, and of course she was experimenting. It's not like there are that many boys and girls who found a love and it was literally the right one (Speaking of experience). I actually think she really had feelings for Harry (or she believed she had) until Harry was standing on the side of his father who literally called her a whore and Harry not defending her. Like srsly, girls, do you want to be with a guy who takes side with someone insulting you? I had a girlfriend who took my side when I was insulted by her parents. And "especially in the sequels"? What do you mean? She had feelings for Peter Parker, who said "No" to her. What did you think she was doing?! Wait until he said yes?! She would be a creepy girl! Of course she dates another guy! And when Peter tried to get her back, of course she was like "Are you kidding me? You want me NOW that i have a boyfriend?!" That at the end she ran back to Peter Parker was not because she wanted Spider-Man as her boyfriend either (I mean, she had feelings, but as she stated she had a feeling). It was because she understood WHY Peter rejected her in the first place, and decided "I know your reason, and I am fine with the problems, I still want you". About Spider-Man 3? Yes, there were problems. It's called relationship. A difficult one. Of course there will be problems (and to be fair, Peter really messed up a bit after kissing Gwen Stacy - In front of MJ and even suggesting it! It's not like Gwen was suggesting the kiss). But I agree with a lot of people, that MJ instead of breaking up could have said "Hey, Harry is an asshole now - You are Spider-Man, kick his ass!" It is still possible that she was too afraid. So... No. Don't side with Norman here. He is an asshole (relatable, to be fair, but an asshole) and just had a lucky guess.
