Peter's Recovery Post Left Clavicle Fracture Surgery | Prof Ali Noorani | Orthopaedic Specialists

Peter, 53 years old, was riding a motorbike when he met with a road traffic accident. He came off his motorbike resulting in closed fracture of his left collar bone (clavicle). He was taken to a nearby hospital. The fracture was significantly displaced, but at that time a decision was done to do a non-operative intervention.

Going in on Monday to get my collarbone fixed. 4th break on the same left side. Crazy. Never fixed it in the past. The distal end looks like a stack of bone. CT shows good bone for screw purchase. Maybe my bike racing days are over. Hope I can get back on the trainer though ASAP. Any thoughts on the ability to just spin my legs on a trainer?
