Everyone in my community has been waiting a long time for this one, so thank you for being patient! Please enjoy my breakdown of The Bass Gang's latest, and be ready for much more from TBG in the coming months -- May the Bass Be With You!

Woo-hoo! I love these nearly as much as TBG's actual music.

As someone who frequents pirate fests and Ren Faires, I love how your outfits represent the phases of attending a pirate festival. Marwan is the newbie, someone without a pirate outfit but does his best with whatever he has in his closet and simply has a blast. Tomi is the guy who bought a pirate outfit from a Halloween store and is there for the beer, shanties, and fun. Bobby is the veteran pirate fest attendee, obsessed with period accuracy, has multiple outfits, and a sword collection at home. You're part of the show, wearing an outfit and makeup that is perfect for the stage, with impeccable showmanship. Love it all!

I didn't expect you guys to cover Home Free, but I got a version where between it and the original, I have no clue which one I like more. These analysis videos help me appreciate what I hear from The Bass Gang and other artists I listen to more than I already do.

Looking pretty spooky there, Peter. Those eyes looked quite crazy. But you’ve got some competition from Marwan in the insane eyes department.

Chance created a great shanty/pirate song! Glad he helped get Bass Gang’s released! Here for your take on it, Peter.

this is legit one of my favorite Home Free songs because of the arrangement with the low D bassline overlaid on the higher singing voice. SUCH a good effect, and y'all pulled it off incredibly well

This was fantastic! I agree with the person who said that you are the only person on the planet who would think your performance wasn’t 100%. Loved the sound, cinematography, and arrangement of the video.

I wish you had made this reaction video sooner. Why? Because it was driving me crazy that I couldn't figure out which one of you guys hit the really low note in the chorus. 😁 Luckily, you have such a sweet manager, because I messaged Casper and asked him. He didn't know. 😂 But apparently he asked and reported back, that it was you and Bobby. So finally I could relax. I really love your version of this song and I have been listening to it on repeat. ❤

Great song, great rendition, and great information. My favorite part is when you sing "Not to any crown". You get more emotion in that line than anyone else I have heard. Keep it up. It might be interested to have some revolution songs.

It's so interesting to me that your low notes don't come in until you warm up. Most of us singers are the opposite. I wake up a basso profundo sometimes and warm up to my tenor range.
@PeterBarber5 ай бұрын
Yeah! I can explain a bit further. There are certainly mornings where my low notes are far stronger, especially after a long night of drinking, talking loudly, etc. But most days, my low notes do fill out and get much more resonant/powerful with a warm-up, and I think this is due to my training as an opera singer. If I sing too much, though, the low end will probably start to thin out and go away, like if I have an ungodly day of 6-7 hours of opera rehearsal or something crazy
