I think you're right Peter; we are able to do things like that; switching the light with our minds, and much more! We just forgot it, but as the world is transforming right now we are starting to remember these things. I also believe that our bodies are self-healing, if you treat it well. I had the dentist to check it out a few years ago, and he confirmed there were old cavities that repared themselves. How nice is that!

They are measuring gum recessions. They want you at a 4. 3 is ok but 2 means you gums are receding too much. It’s still not like alarming we need to do something. But we really don’t want it to get worse. They just slide a small tool under your gums to measure them.

Oh, so it's the opposite of a gum health score where 0 is perfect and 4 is gum disease? That's confusing!

Peter, that gum treatment...I had mine done when some of my numbers were like 7's and 8's...they did a hypersonic sound blaster on the tartar under my gum line and it was freaky and sometimes hurt a little bit, always ached afterwards...and I had 10 or 12 treatments. And zero cavities. Just years without dental care meant major build up in bad places. Also, the drawing is like a neighborhood. Houses, trees, power lines. A street. Love what you're doing with pencil.

I recently discovered your channel and I've enjoyed every minute of listening/watching You through the Tube. I've always wanted to draw, but I'm absolutely terrible at it. Recently I've finally been able to overcome my inner critic and just doodle. Drawing has been so stress relieving and I enjoyed myself immensely. This would not have been possible if it weren't for your soothing voice and special brand of humor that lifted my anxiety and self-judgment. Just wanted to say thank you.

I had gum disease as a kid. It's not so much brushing your teeth as brushing your gums (which was a helpful tip for me recently). You can lose teeth if gums get red and receding. Food gets in, then infection and root trouble. I hate teeth too, such a pain having to brush, etc - body maintenance is soooo boring 🙄 Getting an electric toothbrush helped.

holy moly, I feel the exact same way about the dentist. Especially so when they have a huge reaction to your X-rays and you're like "is everything ok?" and the dentist is like "oh your teeth are fine rn"

I asked that same question my dentist some years ago. He said that when complicated injuring treatment is required, teeth are done one by one, not even two teeth at once, because body needs a lot of resource to regenerate after treatment of just one tooth. If several tooth were treated at the same time, it may cause not only the worst pain syndrome and weakness, it also will drastically slow the natural curing to the point where open wounds just do not close for a long time and infection finds the way in. But the idea is great, as a person with really bad teeth (was a heavy smoker) I would really appreciate something like that. Maybe there's really still a need for research of non-traumatic dental surgery. Maybe it will happen one day. :)

My mother had ,for a 21st birthday present , ALL her totally healthy teeth removed and false teeth fitted!!! Not an uncommon thing in those days (1930's) The cost of dentistry was very expensive and not very good. This was a solution seen as a way to avoid tooth problems later in life. This was a VERY VERY expensive present.

Sounds like they were measuring gum recession. Usually its how many millimeters they can poke their probe in at different locations. 4 and up is usually bad. They will just tell you to floss and check in 6 months.

Hullo Peter! Amazing drawing and not a single tooth visible on my screen! I hope you realize that every alternative to getting up and physically going over and turning the light switch with an appendage has to deal with telekinesis whether you’re moving molecules in the air or electrons or whatever. Telekinesis is at the root of all of the attempts or solutions to your turning the light switch on with your brain problem. However I do wish you luck and if you ever succeed I would love to see a video! In fact even if you don’t ever do it I want to see more videos because you dammit, have it! I enjoy your videos. Dentist phobia indeed I have and righteously so. Oh Peter, I felt for you all through this vent!? Myself, lots of teeth drama. At 2 yrs old split my four front baby teeth by falling on the table, my upper mandula biting it. I was after the soft butter always left out. Habitually, I poked my finger in it when I could. No front teeth till I was 7 yrs old. Miraculously they came in straight as Mother always nagged me about touching them with my tongue. 11 cavities when I was 11. Like birthday icks for my mouth? One extra tooth in the bottom front in my early adult yrs. Recently? Between $1 and $2k spent on one molar. Yes, please can I have the Mercedes of false teeth!? My dentist recently asked after numbing me," How you doing?" I answered, "I am in my Happy Place." He laughed. But seriously I have had to learn to send my mind there, of the which I have gotten quite good at. Thanks to meditating - it helped me. The best time I did it was when they had to take embryonic fluid from me during my 2nd pregnancy. Huge needle, no anesthesia. It was like I did not have it done!? "Yayee me!", I said after. And then thanked God, to which was visiting my Happy Place at the time. Yup, flip the light switch I say!?

Get an electric toothbrush! It is better for your gums. And flossing makes your gums less tender. And then you get the pleasure of going to the hygienist and having her tell you what a good job you are doing. That is a nice feeling, and a good day for you both.

My teeth are so bad I considered getting my remaining teeth removed and getting dentures before 30, but if you remove teeth from the jaw bone your body thinks you don’t need it anymore and your whole jaw starts to recede. You see this in old people with no teeth, so if you got them all removed young it would be much worse. You can get dental implants which I think prevents this but that’s in the 5 digits cost range and takes months. Having shit teeth sucks!
