That's good progress Joseph, and it nearly ran - looking forward to part two. Those Petter M engines are more or less my favourite stationary engines, so I'm loving seeing your one.

Thats an excellent looking engine, I really like those appletops. One thing i heard is they are quite unstable so if you put it on a trolley a large track width is best. I look forward to seeing the updates.

Its not that bad when it comes to stability. Its rocking cause the ground has a hump and its rocking on it. Few moments later it was up and running.

You can see it wants to start! I could see you were running low on puff though! Looking forward to part 2.

It looks complicated to start, what problem do you think it could be? It is a very nice piece although every time you turn the crank it wobbles a little. As a suggestion I would put the base woods in the opposite direction, now they are north-south and I would put them east-west. A big greeting and waiting for that great start. Happy Holidays.

I hate when an engine is wobbly, Its doing that cause the ground has a hump and its rocking on it. When an engine be placed on dirt it will be stable. I dont have good memories of when I did the timber the other way round. long stroke engine like em will give a good force when fire and will tip even more parallel to the flywheels. Many thank for your greetings. same to you. Cheers.

The big hole in your crank case, should have a cover with a shim brass check-valve is missing

Good noticing it. I have made that perspex to view the oil coming out from the new bigend bearing make sure its having good oil flow. Actually that was the failure, the 2 check valves I made was not enough. Thanks for watching
