Seeing this video with Felix’s input too is interesting. But this video of Tati really makes me wonder if she has like a savior complex. This bringing up religion a lot, and then talking about how she wanted to fix jeffree and James Charles… combined with the sort of homophobic language choices she used before it makes me wonder why she was seeking out these queer men. jeffree, Shane, James Charles, Gabriel Zamora- all queer men younger than her. It just feels weird.

That really bothered me that she pretty much hid behind God. Like. God is not your shield. Jesus sat with the temple prostitues and poor that were deemed unworthy because he saw them as humans who bleed the same as the rest. Just like members of the LGBTQA+ community are people too. Her language really really showed a homophobic side IMO because one of the Ten Commandments is to love thy neighbour. And I personally feel like a lot of Christian’s forget that. And she really just irked me by using God and prayer as a shield. Like ma’am I’m sorry but you did not confess to your sins. Not on camera at least. Like Felix said, she literally just shifted blame while being blatantly homophobic and dishonest. Also I’m sorry but when she said she tried to get J ⭐️ to invest in religious charities that was just. Mm. No. Don’t push your beliefs on others. Anyways rant over, she sucks.

I agree, unfortunately it comes with being as big of a channel that he is/was, and because he has been in his own scandals. I think some forget that as well because of the 'unserious' persona he had when he first started, but is a lot more evident now when he's stepped back from the content he used to make.

@@Hinata8778I think that Felix has been one thatbwas open to the idea of being humbled. While he has done a lot of stuff that is considered bad, I think his reactionnto, for example, Demi Lovato's overdose tweet was the way a creator is supposed to handle that. He basically retweeted a post that mocked her overdose, and then said in a video that he retweeted that halfasleep, and woke up to people being mad at him, so he looked into addiction issues more and had to realize that this retweet was him really kicking someone who is already down...he adressdd how that was bad and the words of "I kicked someone who was already on the floor" really stuck with me for just how clear he makes it that he is in the wrong. When making an apology, adressing the ways in which you were wrong is important. He understands that most of the time.

A white woman’s “fragile femininity” at work. Not at all the same situation but it makes me think of the woman who accused Emmett Till (a 14year old black boy) of hitting on her - which was a lie - which got him brutally murdered. Again- very different situation- but Tati’s attitude throughout this whole ordeal is in the same vein. She was the aggressor but played victim for sympathy.
@LA2TXQueen1
@LA2TXQueen1 3 ай бұрын
The focus is not on her race, as James is white. Tati was disturbed because she was using his newfound success but concealed it as a mentorship. He utilized his success to obtain backstage passes, which initiated her since it involve a competitor. Fastward, James was exploding in the industry and his competitors were releasing a product. To refrain from competing with him, led to Tati's arrival with her salty demeanor. Not every issue is intricately linked to race, as that is merely a superficial level. Most matters are subtler and more meticulously devised. You are correct, she was the aggressor. Once she became aware of the public backlash Tati then assumed the victim the victim role. She is engaging in gaslighting towards her audience. This type of behavior is common within Narcissistic Personality Disorder. She has attempted to create doubt in the audience's perception of reality.

some people may hate my opinion, but we all have our own right?! lol anyway … i hate how people act like adults can’t be manipulated as if narcissists don’t exist. do i believe tati was manipulated, not exactly. i think they guilted her. however, i HATED her “apology.” she should’ve came on here and said, “i may have been manipulated, but i made the video. i put this out here. i apologized to james privately, but i made this public and need to apologize publicly. james, i am sorry for all this drama i started towards you. i will not be going into further detail because we spoke and it’s now time for me to end this.” she took absolutely no accountability and THAT was the problem for me. shane & jeffree 1000% needed called out, but her video negated from their involvement. shane’s livestream told me that he did exactly what she said. or that he was definitely involved- it just seemed so over the top when he could’ve stayed silent. 💁🏽‍♀️

@AdamMcintyre - Peter explained the context of all of this!JAMES was going to MAKE A SERIES leading up to his palette release. Peter, Sam, Jafar and Shame Dawson were involved. That's what Tati was talking about when she complained about months and months of back and forth and SHANE TOLD JAMES NOT TO DO IT. Then told TATI they couldn't work with James. Then he and Deathly Star took him out and did the series themselves for the "Conspiracy" palette. I don't think Tati knew what Shane was planning but he did have a reputation for being able to rehabilitate careers etc so people listened to Shane's advice back then imo... Tati feeling betrayed over the vitamins couldn't have come at a better time for the "besties" because they had an "in" to basically say "you don't know him as well as you thought, see!? Etc Plus given James's subsequent behaviour - there is good reason to believe that it was already a pattern so it was believable 🤷‍♂️

I grew up watching pewdiepie so of course im biased in my point of view. The thing is that, even though he had his fair amount of controversies, he managed to keep it real ALWAYS, and that's a rare thing especially when it comes to big creators. We are so used to youtubers and influencers to be extremely childish and/or out of touch when dealing with controversies, and i feel like pewdiepie has always carried himself in a very mature and -more important- coherent way and thats really valuable considering the amount of influence he had through his carreer. I love that you covered all of this Adam! It provides a lot of depth and it probably opened a few eyes. It's a shame that Charles ended up becoming a creep after all, smh. Keep it up❤

What he said about how it's easy to cry if you think you are the victim reminds me of a good lesson: just because someone isn't lying doesn't mean they are telling the truth. People either may have been given false information and reason to believe it or they may have convinced themselves of a lie (which I think Tati is the latter)

i hate how whenever they (tati, shane, jeffree) make follow up to drama videos, they blame the audience for "being fed manipulation" as if that''s not exactly what they're doing here.

I'm glad some people at least have kept in mind James at one point being a shitty creep for thirstposting at teenagers online does not mean he was predator for: -making a documented inside joke about being famous -giving his number to an interested of age bi waiter he was flirting with -being into guys who identify as straight but like men -telling famous straight dudes they're hot and asking if they're interested in him, backing off when they weren't

even in retrospect, I don't think him "supporting" james aged poorly. I think felix, a long-time youtuber who had also been in his fair share of controversies, saw a young youtuber who was getting an unbelievable amount of negative attention and decided to give him a chance to do something more lighthearted and unrelated to the drama. and that's all it was. james and felix never mentioned any of the drama during their few collabs, they literally just played minecraft a few times and then parted ways.

You should watch Tati’s review of the Urban Decay Foundation cause she mentions Jeffree Star for no reason (she says that she watched he’s review of the foundation) and also in an other recent video she answers a question saying that she doesn’t talk to James Charles anymore from the “Breaking my silence” video. In other videos she keeps mentioning the drama and I don’t understand why cause her audience doesn’t like drama. In the “Goodbye KZbin” video she also says that she could talk about Drammageddon in the future and that she doesn’t feel understood about What happened, it’s almost like she’s hinting at something, almost like she’s testing the water with her audience on how they feel on the drama. I don’t understand why she’s talking about it instead of being as quite as possible.

idk why i forgot how many influencers chime into this drama i think probably that why it became mainstream because a lot of influencers got involved and spoke up about it and you rarely see that in the beauty community. because in the community it’s usually the person who at fault and the accused.

Im so curious if Shane had any video footage of Tati, considering Shane and Jeffree saying they wanted her to be in their docuseries. Or if they even have any behind the scenes footage of knowing she was thinking about dropping the bye sister video. I assume they definitely filmed stuff about it because Shane teased the James drama in his trailer.
