All the " bad " gear that you stated are actually the pieces that should provide you with stamina when you enter P1 raids and HM, some boss have an amount of HP that is required you cannot do magtheridon with green items like the shit you showed you'll get one shotted at the 30% HP phase for exemple

Awesome stuff Zatar, super informative. for a newbie at TBC it'd be good to see what raids/crafting ways I'm able to get these items, So I'd know how to correctly prepare and what raids/bosses/proffession to prioritize if I can only get a few per week. I think with nice Visuals on these spreadsheet/lists you'd have the best rogue gearing content on this platform.

Everything in this list was from raids in tier 4, meaning the raids karazhan, gruul's lair, and Magtheridon's lair. In the videos I always link to a page listing out all the items. All of those items are linked to wowhead, so if you want more information on a particular item you can just click it.

Hey Zatar, what spreadsheets do you recommend for simulating dps? BiS lists such as this are important and useful, but there's still intermediate upgrades between vanilla classic raid BiS and TBC classic raid BiS. I downloaded the Simonize spreadsheet but it doesn't have some of the convenient features I liked out of the Garcia spreadsheet in Vanilla classic. Are there any other good TBC DPS/gear spreadsheets out there?

I don't think the caveat for Romulus Poison Vial will matter in most cases at all. Back in the day I found myself gemming for hit all the time pretty much so hitting the hitcap without having used any hitgems will be rare if it ever happens.

Do we know if they have the DR implemented into haste for classic though? It runs down the value of dst a bit but if we dont you can stack pure haste and break the gcd

Unless I'm mistaken, agility gems are nearly identically-good as hit gems in T4 gearing levels - so overcapping with Romulo's isn't a meaningful issue as you can just as happily swap some yellows for reds. I'm also not expecting it to be super expensive given how much ore will be in circulation from rogue/druid alts solo-mining dungeons. If I have any reason to think DST will be going to other classes/players first, I'll be looking to pick up Romulo's pretty highly. Fortunately the only real competition will probably be prot warriors.

There is a decent difference between 8 hit gems and 8 agi gem, depending on your exact gear. Yellow gems would be 15-25% stronger

as an example, romulo's is less than 1 dps less than bloodlust brooch in the Simon spreadsheet, but you end up losing ~ 2 dps per gem you have to swap, and with 35 hit rating added, that would result in an additional 8 dps lost.

@@Zatar Fair enough, sounds like my premise about gem value was incorrect. Presumably Romulo's is at least 8 dps better than 3rd-bis (for those who don't have access to DST yet) but I understand the category you placed it in, now.

Hello, I have just started folloeing your videos since I am playing to play a rogur in Tbc, never played tbc before. My issue is that I am planning on doing bith pve and pvp but i am confused since i need two different specs. Is there a middle one that cand do good in both situations ?

not really. just pay the 50g to respec when you need to, gold isn't that hard to get in TBC

@stoian Gabriel people are pretty intense these days in classic, and most people who raid will expect you to be in a full raid spec, and that is usually bad for PVP. Mutilate is probably the best spec so you can pick that would be decent in both PVP and PVE.

for pvp you'd want skulker's greaves, the phase1 bis rings and if you don't have dragonmaw, spiteblade. perhaps gronn-stitched girdle if you want to gear very offensively for something like 5s or 2s as SPR. getting the cloak off aran or mag is also decent but you can use the cloak from badges of justice and not lose too much.

It depends on how much gold you have, what other things you want to buy, and whether or not your current raiding. I have heard multiple people say it's a very fun weapon though due to the high proc chance.

I think when you know what is bis, it can make getting weaker items Less Fun, but I think it makes big items feel even more rewarding to get. Achieving full best in slot for a phase is a great feeling.
