Phil Collins is an elite rockstar as you guys mentioned... he is one of 3 artists of all time to have sold more than 100 million albums both as a solo artist and also more than 100 million albums as a member of a band (Genesis). The other two are Paul McCartney ( The Beatles) and Michael Jackson ( Jackson Five). An elite list without a doubt. He is a superstar and I enjoy how much both of you admire his talent.

I am a sista that grew up in Indiana in the 80’s and Genesis and Phil Collins got much play in my house. I remember getting ready for school watching MTV and Phil would have the whole house grooving! Now you have to listen to “That’s All,” Tonight, Tonight, Tonight, Throwing It All Away, and “In Too Deep” to name a few. Then you’ll be ready to move into Peter Gabriel and “Sledgehammer” and “Shock The Monkey.”

This is a great Phil Collins song but I have to tell you guys AirPods do NOT do it justice. You really need to hear it on full size speakers or full size headphones. That’s where you will get the full experience and realize just how good it really is.

Full size headphones would be better for hearing health. Air Pods leak sound, therefore you need to turn the volume up, which could lead to hearing damage\loss.

This is one of the best “F-U” songs in rock history. There’s also an excellent live version of it here: m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/sIuWeHRsmcatiqM. (A lot of Phil Collins and Genesis songs are better live than their studio versions.) One of the things about Phil Collins is how versatile he was. In the Air Tonight, Easy Lover, and I Don’t Care Anymore are so completely different, but he had some of his biggest successes with power ballads and love songs - Against All Odds (probably his most famous song after In the Air Tonight), One More Night, You’ll Be in My Heart (from the Tarzan soundtrack), I Wish It Would Rain Down - and the anti-homelessness song Another Day in Paradise. Then there is his stuff with the band Genesis that have totally different sounds. There are so many songs there - Mama (check out this live version from 1987 m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/jZTJpqmdhq9kprs), That’s All, Tonight Tonight Tonight, Land of Confusion, In Too Deep, Home By the Sea/Second Home By the Sea (two tracks on the album, but meant to be listened to as a song song - here’s a great live version kzbin.info/www/bejne/hmiuoGpvq96njaM), Dance on Volcano, and Ripples - just for starters.

I had this great album on cassette on the 80s. Hadn't heard this song in ages. You should listen to Phil Collins with Genesis - lots of great songs there too: Turn It On Again, Follow You Follow Me, Mama, Land Of Confusion, Jesus He Knows Me, No Reply At All, Illegal Alien, etc

I just subscribed yesterday and binged your videos. Love your enthusiasm and open mindedness! I'd really love to see you guys react to some Tom Petty or Traveling Wilburys. For Petty, I think Refugee, Don't Come Around Here No More, or Mary Jane's Last Dance would be great starting points. For the Wilburys, either End of the Line or Handle With Care.

This is the quintessential catharsis song that explodes at the end with Phil Collins singing with all his might from his soul. The way he sings at the end...the way he sings "I don't care what you say, I never did believe you much anyway. Get out of my way, let me by, I got better things to do with my time"....you can't say those words better than that. This song fits perfectly alright into any shitty situation in our lives.
