Great and awsome video, thank you Phill. Maybe next you can do strenght, power, mucle endurance and hypothrophy just by using barbell with few plates. If you can make it a superset barbell exercise. For example a combination of barbell deadlift, barbell row, barbell power clean, barbell overhead press/ military press and a floor press. Looking forward for your next content 💪🏼

I've been doing single leg RDL's with the landmine lately and it's been great. For some reason I have much better stability vs doing it with DB or BB. I also like using it for single leg hip thrusts off a bench

Any advice on how to set up the landmine. In after loading the plates up I can’t lift it all the way up to my chest to start the squat because it’s too heavy.

Place a box at hip height in front of you place the end on the box unrack it then side step to get in position to start your set

Just a very versatile peice of equipment that can be utilize through multiple modalities along with saving space

its very good for mimicing olympic weightlifting type movements. Like clean and press, split-presses. Traditional Olympic weightlifting takes lots of skill, you need to dedicate hours upon hours to reap its benefit. But as somebody who does martial arts you benefit more from learning actual fighting techniques instead of olympic weightlifting. So landmine basically makes these exercises easy to learn while benefiting the power building nature of O.W. With 5 mins coaching most can do these. Also its better for any punching based martial arts because thats the plane of motion you need to be strong not some overhead stuff. For hypertrophy, traditional strength exercises (Deadlift, squat, row) etc landmine is inferior to barbell exercises except some few outliers.
