looks like a yoga class with different moves.. Not bad at all, but when I warmup, I want to train after and I don't have 2h, I need to stretch too. I guess he has some more condensed warmups. Usually when I warm up, I sweat and I don't see this guy sweating after 20 minutes.. I'm still giving a thumb up

I spoke too fast, starting at 20m, thre's the real warm up. I will definitively do the first 20min at least once then using the second part as actual warmup.. Thanks Phil.

@@joeblow9891 it takes 5 minutes. You have to warm up anyway and a little tipp: you don't stretch before, you do it 10 min. after the training.

Phil. Would like to request content regards improving mobililty and stability for squats. Already did Smr on the top of the feet lower feet tibialis ankle etc. However subject A has poor range of motion performing barbell squats. Could squat slightly above the knee cap area. Anything lower will cause butt wink and rounded back and feel pain on the lower back. What are the ways to improve Subject mobility? Pls advice shifu Subject has a long limbs. Already eliminate the knees passing the toes myth.
@PhilDaruStrong
@PhilDaruStrong 4 жыл бұрын
md fadhli some sacral rounding will occur especially with people with long femurs. Start by box squatting with a goblet squat teach them how to create optimal intra abdominal pressure. Then you want to evaluate where the instability is located it maybe as simple as changing foot placement for most longer limb lifters with wider hips get their stance wider and work on adductor flexibility and external hip mobility. If it’s a leaner person work on getting them slightly outside hip width and work on strengthening the hamstring and lower abdominals. I’ve found that a squat to box help to progress them there.

First thing, take your shoes off and asses your feet when you’re squatting. Are your arches collapsing? That means you’re not activating through your big toe. Second look at you’re knees are they bowing inward or can you keep them square with the second toe and remain broad in your hips. It sounds like you should be in a stabilization phase of squatting. Maybe loose the weights all together and learn correct posture in your squats and get some under active muscles working properly.

Damn good training, way to start from the feet. If you can’t activate the big toes muscles your foundation in the kinetic chain is already super weak. Have you looked into EBFA Phil? I think you’d enjoy the education that comes from it.
