There were many things and moments that made the future Queen Elizabeth fall in love with that guy she herself chose to be her husband, I cling to the idea that the real seal, the seal that sealed her love for him and her everlasting confidence and trust in/on him was what Philip told her on the very day of the coronation: "Where did you get that hat from?", that was it, that was the hammer moment and hammer words Philip imagined and came with out of nowhere in such a moment to honor his beautiful young wife being crowned queen of millions of people, those words were the ones that told the queen who was her King, her personal King forever!

I believe life is a series of tests and obstacles. Everyone's fate / destiny are what you make of it. It doesn't matter whether you are a royal, rich & famous, or just a commoner. Bad habits die hard, and the press are merciless in showcasing that to the world. But Prince Philip excelled in anything he did, and he brought others along with him in the Edinburgh Awards. In a way, I think he takes after Princess Alice, his mother, a lot. There are some similarities in their lives. What I love the most is what he did in the Navy and his success stories from it. He's clearly not just a prince! I think, before he was born into this world, he was probably an angel from heaven who made a conscious effort to come down to this samsaric world to hone his efforts and contribute to humanity. I think his legacy is: Continue to improve towards humanity and learning never stops until you die. His mother was like this, and he's like this. I also love Princess Anne bc she's like this.

Wouldn’t it be a great service to the world if “Poor Me” Prince Harry were obliged to read and report on a biography of his own grandfather, Prince Phillip? He was a Royal who was truly abandoned by both of his parents and was actually homeless for years before he was a teenager and grew up bouncing from one relatives’ home to the next. Yet during this time he never complained, and he was known for his sunny disposition. I wonder what he thought of Harry’s perpetual whining? Prince Phillip had class, Harry doesn’t.
