Just got mine this morning. The ultra fine filter was NOT uninstalled. There was one included in a plastic bag.

I have nullification set on 1. Why does the water tank gurgle and sit water out of the place where the hose goes? My water level is well below fill line.

Can you tell me what is wrong with my machine when I turn it on my machine goes not do anything but blank

If you turn on the humidifier the heat automatically comes on. How do you turn off the heat? I don't mean the heated tube I mean the machine heat. In the summer I certainly don't need heat.

Why on earth did Phillips go backwards in designing this whereas you need to have the big humidifier installed even if you don't need/want to use it? The old dreamstation 1 let you use it without it being installed and hence was smaller and lighter. Dreamstation 1 had better reporting also as well as better sleep algorithms.

I just got my replacement for my recalled DS1. Can I use the memory card from my old unit in the DS2?
@warriordugan72362 жыл бұрын
Yes, of course. It will plug right in and lets the new unit know your old settings.

Two peeves with Respironics. First is the separate power brick. Why can’t you produce a Dreamstation with integrated power supply? Second is the integrated humidifier: Sometimes, one wants to leave the humidifier behind when traveling. The Dreamstation 2 is not what I’d want when traveling. ALSO: Why does Respironics not produce a travel version of ASV Dreamstation?

Looks nice but it’s far too light and I have to use a gripper mat. No de ramp button. Much prefer Flimsy top of humidifier tank. The clips either side won’t last long. Glad I didn’t pay for it.

You should always plug any electric device into the wall last. It’s a common sense safety precaution. You never want to be handling live wires if you can help it.

I don't particularly like this model. I liked the fact that my old machine I was able to detached the water tank when I was traveling. I didn't want to be bothered with distilled water except when at home.

Do not buy this unless you do not use the humidifier feature. Pretty standard compared to Dreamstation original model's features. It is a little smaller, but not so much as to make a difference imo. I was sent this machine as a replacement due to the recall of the original Dreamstation. My major complaint is that the humidifier tank design is horrible. You have to slide it off and on, and the power cord gets in the way. There is a lid attached to the humidifier tank, and it clips on and off, quite fussy. If you have arthritis or are not dextrous, this will be frustrating to remove, fill, and carefully slide back into place. My adult son who is disabled could change the water in his machine independently, but now I have to do it for him. I find it tedious and I can't imagine why someone thought this design would be an improvement. I am debating asking the doctor for a prescription for a different machine. I would rather pay money for a better machine than use this annoying device I received for free. I miss the original humidifier design.

Plus, unlike the dreamstation 1, I can’t disconnect the humidifier and operate the device. This is frustrating if you don’t need it. Plus the humidifier is cheaply made and looks to be prone to breakage or at least air leakage especially when you have to keep popping it open to get to the filters. Horrible, flimsy design.
