I’ve been researching this entire subject of producing medicinal fungi...All the forum’s and techniques make the whole process rather frightening and intimidating..You really take the anxiety out of the entire process. I believe it’s your calming voice and the entire philosophy of keeping it simple - I was literally freaking out about the sanitation and contamination..You have really made me sleep better at night knowing that I can do this without going all out with fans and heat mats etc.Thanks PGT
@marcusjay8103

I was totally the same, it seemed crazy intimating and looked like it was gonna cost some serious cash to get a professional set up well,..... Set up! 🤦 😂 Another great channel is willy myco! He puts out some amazing stuff and start-finish fukl builds. Love the 40-90min content as it really dives deep into what seems like the most basic part of a subject but that's kinds what you are wanting when trying to learn something. Such a great addictive hobby, mushrooms and DMT are both super fun medicine you can make at home, huge fan (no pun intended) of dehydrating one of the finished tubs, grinding into a fine powder and making both 1g capsules along with microdosing capsules for everyday use. Also love taking the same powdered 'magic dust' and using it for edibles, chocolate bars, sweets, even savoury edibles. Same way when extracting DMT, so much fun stuff to do after you have your pure crystal (or even with a jungle extraction, I'm actually quite partial to the full spectrum/Range of alkaloids over the multi wash white crystal.. I find a jungle run offers more to it. Nicer vibe, amazing visuals and just much MUCH deeper experience) to do other stuff. I love batch making Vape carts with DMT too, get to REALLY play around with adding flavouring to your base liquid (just like a standard PG/VG nicotine vape cart) and can really get creative with it and express yourself. Same with making changa! Not only is it the easiest way to experience DMT (IMO) but obviously you also get that longer experience over just smoking the DMT crystal on its own. Again! Just like cooking with powdered mushrooms and making the carts, Changa allows you freedom while creating your own mix. There are SOOOO many herbs/botanicals listed within HUGE cookbooks specifically just for making changa. Always exciting and fun to be able to know everything listed is fully safe so you get the benefit of being able to play 'BOTANICAL MIXOLOGIST', Grab a nice blank book or even a notes app and weigh/record everything you are doing (so you know exactly what you added that fooked it up WHEN you do... Not if....always WHEN 😉) and when you find something that bangs....well keep that recipe secret as everyone will want it 🤐 Happy growing/extracting brother! Namaste 🙏

I'm 3 days in to fruiting conditions. Everything still looks good and hopefully it stays that way. These videos made it all possible. Even have agar growing mycelium. So far most of it looks clean. I'm all about speeding up the process but correctly. The hardest part is 1 it's my first grow so I've been stressing out because of the time and effort it takes and 2 it's not gonna be any fun to start over because it does take a while to get going on the first round. Now I have jars backed up for some and other jars that I just inoculated. I'm hoping to successfully make liquid culture in the near future. Keep the videos coming. Can't seem to learn enough about this whole process of growing mushrooms. Way better than growing plants in my eyes.

Damn this is some high quality content. Just the other day I was wondering how hard it would be to discern cobweb mold from this type of mycelium you've explained as tomentos. Bless your soul sir. I have a sports range that only makes this tomentos that's extremely fluffy and I've been really questioning if it's cobweb. It's white and doesn't have a fragrance, but it's about an inch over the substrate in the jar. I don't quite know what to think of it and haven't been able to try fruiting it. Really like your content man thank you.

Can you make a video talking about ideal temps? Like what temps you prefer to colonize and fruit?
@k.l.5940
@k.l.5940 3 жыл бұрын
RR said a lot about this. Here is an example: "I have not used an 'incubation chamber' in several years. If you maintain your house at normal indoor temperatures, your projects will do just fine. There is certainly no need to incubate jars over 80F, and to do so raises contaminant risks considerably. The inside of your jars will be 3 to 4 degrees warmer than the surrounding air. If you heat a chamber up to 86, your jars will be near 90, and much more likely to contaminate. I colonize on a bookshelf in a spare bedroom, and no attempt is taken to prevent the jars from receiving normal room lighting. I then fruit in a small greenhouse type enclosure with no heat applied during the growing process. If it's deep winter and your room is a bit cold, run a small space heater to heat the entire room to 75 or so. That temperature will work just fine for colonization, as well as fruiting. There's no need to make growing any harder than it already is. Keep it simple."

Ideally if you have a perfect substrate you should not need to mist or fan at all. For the second flush I usually dunk the cake. That's all. First, holes with no fae then fill them with cotton balls for air exchange.
