hey philly, when you put popcorn in PC with syrup a 15 psi for 30 min doesn't the popcorn burn? cant one achieve this like you would regularly simmer it? also another thing is its hard to get corn syrup where I am believe it or not, You think honey or mapel syrup can do the same? thanks in advance

If they could make like a quicker design with tent pole style supports, that would be way better. The set up and take down time of attaching all the connectors and supports kind of turns me off.

How are you only using 3 quarts of water for a 2.5 hour long pressure cook? I have the same pressure cooker the presto 23 and I need to use just over 4 quarts and I got it rocking right at 15 psi the entire time

You can add a little bit of vinegar to diluted bleach to make one of the most powerful sterilants in the world. Bleach is alkaline, at high pH most of it is hypochlorite ion, which is not very effective. Now if you lower the pH to about 6 it becomes hypochlorous acid. I usually inject 60 cc of water in a small spray bottle, then inject a full 3 cc syringe (with is about 3.4 cc) of bleach and then inject the same amount of white vinegar. I use a small bottle because it doesn't last long

Hey Philly,love your work brother, I've been going back and watching all of your vids to brush up on things and maybe learn something I missed,and I have had a lot of success from using your instructions and am interested in using slants eventually,haven't made it that far yet and having to take a break on things myself but I would like to see and maybe others will too your method of getting transfers out of a slant without messing things up I know it can't be much harder than taking a plate transfer but would still maybe make an interesting video if not I understand and hope you are having a good weekend.

Hello I wanted to print oyster mushroom spores, bought some mushrooms at the store, then put them on foil in a constant air flow box and waited 24 hours, but it didn't print and the inside of the box smelled bad. It is probably a sign of contamination that will become a problem later. What should I do to prevent this contamination? Why didn't I get any spores in the printout?

Would be really interested if you tested Organic vs non-organic spawn. Wonder if there could be any chemical pesticide/herbicide/fungicide etc in or on the grain that could subtly inhibit the fungi growth. Obviously organic is much more expensive. But it’d be interesting to see. Within gardening/farming, many find that non-organic wheat straw can have herbicide contamination which greatly inhibits crop growth the first year or two after it’s applied as a soil mulch. Have you ever thought about this or tried using organic grains? Thanks for your videos!
