For those that can't find the "MixRGB" node: If you're using a version of Blender past 3.3 like 3.4 and so on... the "MixRGB" node used in the video was changed into the "Mix" node. Click on the drop-down where it says "float" on the node and change it to color. It'll then assume the role of the MixRGB node in the video. Have a good rest of your day or evening. You're doing great.

Bruh, I sat down about a month ago and figured this out myself (I dare say I did a good job but it took me ages), really wishing I could have waited for this video. (Also for anyone wanting to make photo realistic marble, you might want to look into the subsurface scattering of marble)

Hey there! Great tutorial, thank you! I put the material on a thin slab (40x40x2cm) and the texture looks ugly, like squashed on the thickness. How can I solve it? On the other sides it looks fine

On the node interface, hit control A thencontrol C on the project with the material, then (on your new project) hit control V on the node interface.

You can always just append the material, I find that the easiest. Go to file > Append, then find the .blend file and click the materials folder :)
