well no Akira wrote in one of the mangas that a super sayain is gained by those pure of heart, thats why it was a legend...no one of the saiyan race at that time was pure due to leadership of king Vegeta and Frezia. Goku went super saiyan cause he was losing his friends, his anger was out of sadness and lose, not revenge. Vegeta gained super saiyan cause he was showing care and remorse, they way he was with Bulma, and that he took Bulmas help to train, the way he helped Gohan and krillin on namek. Alot of these on the outside look like "he did it for his own self gain" but his dialogue and actions speak far otherwise, He to this day still acts like an uncle to gohan, treating him more like a saiyan, telling him whats up, rather than baby him and console him.

Okay so two things: 1.) Piccolo was actually being smart here, but it wasn't mentioned in the video. Maybe it's different based on the dub you're watching but in the two that I've seen, Piccolo said that he was playing dead so that he can surprise attack the Androids. But Vegeta came outta nowhere and messed up his plan. Basically stole his shine. But Vegeta needed it if I'm honest. 2.) This and the fight against 2nd Form Cell really shows how when Vegeta fights, he does so to physically and mentally break his opponents. And I'm not gonna lie, he probably got that shit from Frieza. But think about it. Each and every time Vegeta got a W in the show, not only is talking mad shit to his opponent in like 2 or 3 lines, he's as humiliating and stunting/flexing on them with some stylish moves. If you don't believe me, take a look at how he kills people. Qui- Blown to smithereens Dodoria- Obliterated Zarbon- Punched a hole in his stomach and proceeded to do a point-blank ki blast which exploded out the other side. Android 19- (Watch the video again) Semi Perfect Cell- While he doesn't kill him, does some disrespectful yet stylish moves. Like blasting him point-blank while upside down AND under water. And punching him square in the jaw before taking the time to walk over behind him and use another blast. And if that's not enough he gave Cell a fucking free hit and it barely did anything. Pui Pui- "Welcome to the end of your life. And i promise it's going to hurt." "Maybe if this was 500x Earths gravity you might have a chance. But 10?? I don't even feel it."

Oh the reason it became easier to become super sayian was explained I think. For the kids it’s because the cells that makes it to where they can turn super sayian increase from generation to generation, also the more powerful the sayian parent is the stronger those genes are. Which is why it was so much easier for Goten and trunks then it was for Gohan.

They probably had krillin say that to clear up confusion on transforming requirements to super saiyan and how fans may have misinterpreted what was meant in order to do so. Goku says he is PURE of heart but was awakened by FURY. Meaning it's just stating that goku had to be pushed to the point of perhaps no longer being pure of heart to achieve it as vegeta said before he died. So Goku was pure but the transformation itself is likely a mixture of being good and bad (to an extent) not to say anger is inherently bad because it can be channeled to something good but that it can make people bad.

Ultra ego vegeta and goku black is two different things what are you talking about and ultra ego vegeta isn't even perfected yet yes he takes damage to become more powerful but who's to say his ability in that form only stops there. It's too early to tell. Just like how vegeta first turned super saiyan and washed Android 19 then gets cooked by 18. Trains in the time chamber then cooks imperfect cell. It's the same form just more trained. Same thing

Piccolo was using strategy in that moment. He pretended to take the L from 20, assuming he'd have to surprise attack the androids. Piccolo was actually around vegeta's power level there and was ready to violate 20 when his guard was down. But then vegeta showed up and Piccolo stop faking. That's why you see him standing when Vegeta is active.

The key difference is Goten and Trunks super saiyan is still KID sized. I believe in the buu saga it’s stated they are only on par with final form Frieza. Meanwhile Universe 6 saiyans are fighting God Powers at SSJ 2 that’s NUTS 😂

4:27 I agree with the lack of meaning in the recent transformations of dragon ball and the methods but I wanna clear this up for some people because i think this is where people get confused. Universe 6 (cabba, caulifa, kale) is different from Universe 7 (the main universe). so I wouldn't say that the methods of universe 6 saiyans turning super saiyan "took the meaning" out of super saiyan of universe 7. because "super saiyan" in universe 6 isn't the same as super saiyan in universe 7. I agree it isn't a good method but I dont let that take meaning out of the original ways of getting super saiyan in universe 7 because it's a different universe entirely. Basically universe 6 trash. Hopefully we can get better written stories in the future like broly and the moro/granolah arc 🙏🏽

Ultra ego is actually the most reasonable transformation in all of dragon ball z. Ultra ego vegeta gets stronger the more he gets attacked. Canonically saiyans have a trait where they grow in strength after recovering from heavy damage. So vegeta getting stronger from being hurt kinda plays into his saiyan blood
