Every coffee shop has its own recipes but I don't what u to forget they they all originate from one souce barista creator. One who doesn't want to take a cortado due to its strength of double shot the r recommended to piccolo which is created for a single shot my brother

Noo my dia. Machiatto original recipe doesnt have chocolate. Different cafes create their own recipes right from the original recipe. The one with chocolate is called babyChino but it doesnt have espreso cause we serve it to babies to share the the coffee spirit mind to them

Cortado and flat white ( Double shot of Espresso or ristreto it confuses me so much bambi airlet more on this

Both drinks can be made with either single or double shot but the difference comes in the amount of milk we use. Cortado is served in a 4oz cup where the espresso is 2oz and milk 2oz and the flat whit is served in a 6oz cup so the the espresso takes 2oz, milk 3oz and floath 1oz. So the cortado tastes stronger than the flat white

What u should understand is Customers order basing on their preferences so when a single shot order is made that basically means that the client wants the coffee less strong than the usual recipe. So the milk quantity has to stay the same it's just the strength of the Espresso that reduces. Hope u get me

When a client orders for piccolo basically that means a single shot straight away but when they order for a double shot u just know ur Serving a cortado with the Sam measurement of milk

Espresso is an extracted coffee beverage with the use of pressure ranging in 9bars extracted between 20-30sec sitting in a 2oz cup. while cortado is and Espresso strong beverage mixed with a double shot of Espresso and mix with steamed milk sitting in a 4oz cup

Am really sorry FLORENCE I am working on my camera positioning but making a machiatto all u need is a shot of espresso then steam ur milk to get enough floath where u sqoop off the floath and place it onto off the espresso and also create a golden ring

How long should do for short ,double short take to extract

A short runs between 20 - 30 secs on standard. But depending on the kind of coffee beans and roasting profile, some exceed beyond 30secs-35secs in which you will get the best of its aroma, flavours and a beautiful taste.

In times of extraction all shots should run through a ratio of 1:2. If you grinde 7gms of coffee for a single the out come must be 14gms which most times run to 20secs which also implies for a double shot 15gms for 30gms out come which runs through 20-30 secs

@@shafikmwanje1427 true Mr Shafik but on standard grounds even in competitions everything most especially time, coffee amount that results into yield which still contributes alot to the taste findings of flavors, Acidity, Sweetness, aromas etc is very very very important. U can't get a good Espresso resulting from either under extraction or over extraction. Mind about it
