Since Nika was pasture bred, I was able to leave her with the stallion for the entire summer. This video is about our adventure to go pick her up.

At 11m was the clearest example of a horse experiencing fight/flight I've ever seen. Amazing to me how that very primitive instinct is always just under the surface, how protective of their lives they needed to be as prey animals. I'm sure she was happy for the company once she understood what was happening. Thanks, great video!

You know Brandy, I’ve never owned a horse before ( I’ve ridden, worked in stock yards and out on the range in Colorado) always wanted one but knew that I just couldn’t have one. Susan Flowers we dropped our mares off a few days before the stallion was introduced to get them used to each other and their new environment. I would have enjoyed seeing that too but it wasn’t an option for us.

The buckskin has been alone in her paddock and suddenly theres a new horses... it startled her. Being dark probably didn't help her sight, but she was startled from seeing the other horse.

Awww, another ‘backyard breeder’. Isn’t that nice. 3 mares with foals, and likely a mare in foal as well, shown in this video alone. That’s the majority of your herd with, and in foal. I don’t understand people like you. You’re not doing right by ANY horses in this….Rips my guts out. 😣😔

I don't think you really understand the definition of a backyard breeder. I bred my own horse for my own program to teach others about horses, and I am very happy with my decision. If you don't like what I'm doing, don't watch. I am doing everything I can to try and make a difference, maybe you should too.
