I already have Disney+ and Netflix. While I would LOOOOOVE to get HBO Max, the price tag is just too high for me at the moment. Even if I didn't have the other two it still might be too high, and because I don't have HBO Already, I can't get HBO Max for free w/ the promotion they're running. Maybe in the future if the price drops.

The price really is the biggest obstacle for me. Otherwise, I would like to get HBO Max for the recent animated content like "Looney Tunes Cartoons," "Adventure Time: Distant Lands," "Close Enough," and the new season/book of "Infinity Train." It's also cool that they included tons of classic movies and Studio Ghibli films, along with some Hanna-Barbera, Adult Swim and CN shows (Hooray for 2003 Teen Titans).

I'm in the same boat. It's a bummer that you can only get free access through certain circumstances, I don't even think it's free if you have Hulu. It certainly doesn't work with X-finity.

Unfortunately I can’t get HBO Max due to it not being available in the UK. Even if I use a VPN it still won’t let me as it needs an American Credit Card. If I did have this I would probably use it for the Cartoon Network shows like Powerpuff Girls, Dexter’s Lab, Fosters and Powerpuff Girls as it seems very hard to find many of these shows elsewhere. Although I do wish it had a few more classics like KND and Ed, Edd n Eddy.

I think HBO Max will be the best streaming service... in 2022. Once they work out a deal with Amazon/Roku, all the licensing deals WB made ahead of time expire and they get the full library restored, and release a lower price monthly option with ads. Honestly I am vastly more excited for HBO MAX than anything on Disney+. Because Disney wants everything to appeal to everyone. So their programming is going to be more neutered, watered down, and PG to get universal audiences. HBO doesn’t give a damn about being family friendly. Not that they wont make that kind of stuff, but by making more niche and demographics driven. It allows shows and movies to be have more refined quality that doesn’t have to be compromised for the sake of universal mass appeal.

Back when it was announced for HBO Max, they said that it would be all previous (revived) series, as well as future series. Personally my big question is whether or not they'll be put up on HBO Max after they air vs having to wait for an entire series to air first.

Since I read comics on dc universe, for 6 months I get to pay $4.99 monthly and I'm on my 2nd month of the service and so far I really like it but it should not be $14.99 monthly , with the quantity and quality of content on there and the flaws and strengths of the app's interface AT&T's warnermedia seems greedy and foolish to charge 5 to 6 dollars more than what you naturally get out of Disney plus or netflix . I also think they dont have as much content as netflix or Disney plus , like 1/3 the amount of them so why is it logically necessary to pay more for them? At&t's huge debt mask is causing them to make lots of terrible decisions and the virus pandemic just amplifies catastrophes 2x more

Many people forget that rural populations don’t have adequate streaming capabilities. I can stream on my main television, but if everyone in the house tries to stream at once, the internet will lock up. That’s why it’s not worth subscribing to a lot of streaming services. One or two, perhaps, but definitely not a dozen.
