Plus, thousands have "left Navan" ive known lots of them.. I really enjoy the moment when Pierce asks Thomas where he's from, because there's a bit of that celebrity reserve where he's preparing to act surprised by something he thinks will underwhelm him. It's not arrogance or disinterest; he's just long in a world where people present the mundane as fascinating, and it's part of his job to play along. So when he hears "Navan" he is truly thunderstruck, and all of that celebrity armor falls away. A person professionally unsurprised is taken aback in the most delighted way possible.

I've gotta say, I was not initially a fan of Pierce Brosnan when he played James Bond, but as he's gotten older and the more I learn about him, the more he grows on me. Now, I'd love to see him at least in a cameo in a future Bond film, even if it's just a short bit.
