Im completely with you, i just get bored a couple episodes in, because its mostly uncut, and progress is slow compared to a shooter game. Though this way, as the creator youre done with a whole campaign in 1 video, so you earn much less then a lets play series would. Even with how much views drop off after the first couple videos, im pretty sure you earn more with the same subcount, doing a lets play, than you would a video like this, since some of those subscribers (even if a small minority) will watch all the episodes, and if youre done with a campaign in 1 video, theres not a thing that your most dedicated viewers can do to help you out, beyond watching the 1 video. I kinda went on a tangent there, sorry.

Hottori have more upkeep for units so much so that in legendary difficulty every turn is constant struggle to keep your money slightly above minus But it's goddamn fun to attack your enemy from all sides with cav and mele infantry

Out of curiosity I did a quick calculation, pilps lost 75 units and going with the 150 men per unit average, they lost about ~11,250 men, could less or more due to not knowing how big the units might be. (obviously pilps blew up more from units that didn't permanently die and later got them replenished) in comparison pilps took out 2133 units with yet again the 150 men per unit average that amounts to a nice ~320,000 enemy casualties. Presumably pilps didn't leave no enemies alive because there shall not be any witnesses, meaning that the enemy casualties are closer to that final number than pilps's casualties are. So yeah, pretty terrifying imo xD Edit: I quickly counted that the enemy casualties are 28x times that of pilps's.

Hey, y’all. How do you guys like to employ the Hisho Ninjas on the battlefield? I never really figured them out and I’ve played the game for awhile.

Mass spam them, surround the enemy on all sides. Have a small force of yari charging them in the open to distract them, with one or two cavarly units to come in for an extra high speed flank, then as they are focused on your yari, charge all your ninja and cav from all sides, they will break within seconds!

All units can climb! The ninjas are hard to spot for the AI when they are hidden with their special ability, and they don't fall when climbing walls! You can essentially infiltrate a castle and start taking it over before the AI is to late to realise what is happening
